Bug where instant cast master title didn't work has been fixed.
So the hero skills are only avaiable to those who use the hero cards to create a new character? (since they work like Memorial Cards)
Idk about Bard or Alchemy, but I'm still rather fond of this magic video:

This mage doesn't seem to have these problems with practicality and efficiency you speak of o wo
Abnormal damage? Was this with the dmg stacking and what not?
To clarify, seems they fixed the bug where normal dmg enchants (possibly overture too as extension of this) were applying to alchemy as if it were alchemical dmg. In other words, in all those water/flame videos we've seen since hero release the dmg was abnormally inflated.

Well...I can understand the dmg enchants but not battle field. That should work for all types of combat. :-/ Do any of you mind testing this later for both magic and alch if you guys get a chance?
I don't really understand why DevCat won't afford magic and alchemy the ability to compete with other talents. I can understand some deviation as of right now (due to the investment of additional time/resources for ranged/melee/combined stat talents) but it seems unusual that they wouldn't offer some way for mages and alchemists to catch up.
Essentially, i'm getting pretty tired of seeing the majority of people run around with the exact same character builds. The talent system didn't really help things out either. GM Combat Alchemist gives like +1 Fire Damage and slightly improves the effectiveness of an already unreliable skill, while GM Archer improves the effectiveness of the (imo) best talents in the game (range/puppetry), GM Warrior buffs Melee, Puppetry, and Shooter, and GM Bard gives some pretty fantastic musical buffs.
I was hoping for some diversity and they let me down.
