Don't mind the poor enchants. Its part of my luck set for Theatre Missions Pass making.

I think playing instrument stacks with singing, as I've seen players do 26% normal overture singing. That means singing = Allegro Lyre with max artisan and +1 buff reforge. Best instrument indeed.
Unless you spent a fortune reforging a lyre for an unneeded 4% overall damage bonus, which doesn't necessarily justify missing out on all the things singing offers.

What do you mean by +1 buff reforge? And what do you mean by the overall 4% damage bonus?
The playing instrument effect is a music effect buff reforge right? So say I had a playing instrument 15 reforge , and music buff effect 11(max artisan), grandmaster ...miku...etc. singing can stack more buff on top of that ?
EDIT: for some reason I completely ignored the "=" which effectively makes my entire post stupid. Wow singing is op. I can sing with a weapon in hand? I will throw out my lyres right fucking now. Though I'm guessing you meant literally just a +1% reforge, I like buffing my party enough to reroll a lyre to hope for near 20 playing instrument reforge..but what does it mean exactly, a +20% to which part of the buff? Just divided or to each part? Yay lack of information!

That's actually pretty depressing.
What's the point of instruments? Dischord?
DevCat might as well remove weapon variety and add in a "road to rule" at this rate.
Playing Instrument music buff reforge simply adds +1 music buff per level. Each 1 music buff gives +0.2% to overture.
All I meant is that from videos I've seen, players using Overture via singing get 26% normal overture buff. To get 26% with overture, you need 30 music buff total and singing provides 15... so do the other 15 come from music playing even though there is no instrument equipped? It's possible, but there's also a chance the players I saw were using a combination of titles that added up to 15 music buff. We'll know for certain once test is updated.
Either way, if singing gets 15 buff from playing and 15 buff from the singing skill, then it would have the same effect as playing a lyre with total of 15 music buff + the 15 you get from playing instrument. If that is the case, then for any player who does not reforge... bare hands is the best music instrument.
Unless you are playing with an instrument, singing without anything doesn't stack with playing instruments.
There's future titles, enchants, etc. that not only gives +max damage but also +music buff~
There is no title combination that adds up to 15 music buff though, and there is nowhere else to obtain music buff if you aren't equipped with an instrument.
Battlefield Overture Master and Yvona OP prefix title add up to 16, not 15. Still leaves music playing as the only plausible explanation.
