I can range just fine. It's just that IT ALWAYS MISSESSSSSSSSSSSS
That's what I am talking about too.
Lag isn't just frame freezing at inopportune times.
When distance and lag is greater, the more distance the aim meter is from the actual aim percent the server sees.
Example:
Someone who lives in California
90% - > is really 90%
Someone who lives in the Midwest of the United States
90% - > 85% aiming
Someone who lives in the Eastern Coast
90% - > 80% aiming
Someone who lives halfway across the world
90% - > 45%
The client is the one who determines how fast the aim meter goes, in no way is affected by lag, HOWEVER that is just visual.
It is because of that reason people gets confused why they miss at 100% when they fire as soon as it hits. Depending on your latency, that 100% is not really 100% but the server sees it as 80~90%.
Only solution is really just to wait at 100% for a few seconds before firing, which is why lullaby and such is a godsend.
Which is why Range is extremely affected by lag.
