Magic is no longer slow and powerful, it is both quick and powerful now. Because ain't nobody got time for that. Guard cylinder and Merlin knuckle also allow quick hybrid with other skillset, and mobility is vastly improve because you can cast most magic skill while moving/moving after cast.
I was merely comparing with instant casting.
Without instant casting, puppet is supremely faster, and mobility wise, it is the same since you do move the same speed walking on the ground, unless i am missing something.
Puppet has 3 AOEs, and if you are doing HM, that's more than enough.
And gunner will do a lot lower damage than my puppets, which make it for a great secondary skillset.
That room that the guy showcased, I could have easily done it with basic bars at nearly 1.5 his speed, so don't anyone tell me magic is "faster".
The only obvious issue is the same issue that the mage had, Blinkers.
