Puppetry is to Garchomp as Alchemy is to Gliscor.
They're both OU tier but the latter isn't needed once the other starts to sweep late-game.
This is a great analogy, but which metagame are you talking about? Are you talking about D/P/P or B/W? I haven't played B/W so i'd have to go review the smogon database on both because when I ragequit smogon, Garchomp got moved to ubers.
EDIT: Or rather, I ragequit smogon BECAUSE they moved Garchomp to ubers after my opposition. >_>
(Yes, serious question.)

Just take it as sarcasm. It's the only time so far he's said anything bad about it right? Besides, right after he said that whole "He said it's total crap so it must be right?
I don't know how to take it right after Zekkii said it was bad with a little analysis.
Whether it's a good OR a bad skill, using the logic that "It's what the Koreans do" is kinda flawed, because the Koreans arn't perfect.
Very nearly got me into trouble with egos.

But on a more serious note.
Hydra holds alot of utility in missions and dungeons, what will I use it for? Multitasking of course!
You can place one in a group of mobs in lets say... Lingering darkness? after dropping a hydra at a spawn you can run over to the next spawn while it kills everything.
Hydra is a god sent for Offering missions/spawn points as well, since it doesn't knock back the gassed monsters.
And it's nice enough to kill the monster's Magic Defense and Protection.
So it's good, but utility?
