  One of those weapons has smash damage as a 2ndary reforge so its not a very good comparison. Also, I was assuming they would not throw reforges at their 1h's due to the fact that the chances of getting elementals on 1h's are significantly lower than with 2h's (or so I've heard). It shouldn't cost a ton to get elemental on hlc's because they are already r1 and (from my experience with reforging) the most costly part of reforging is getting to r1. Honestly, I never said it was a huge margin increase in damage, however why would you settle for less when you can have more? If anything your example shows that dual wield falls short when compared to 2h's.
  
  Dual wield is obsolete when compared with 2h's and lances.

  I dont understand your reasoning behind this. If someone has high str they automatically should use puppets?
  
  We suggest them because mid-end game 2h's will beat 1h's and its better to build the weapon now and be able to use it more efficiently later than to have to worry about it when the time comes.

  yes puppetry i have 700+ max with 2h and its not even close to a basic control bar when running dungeons,smash crit is nice but everything else is meh.

  Puppetry needs dex as well, and control bars cant be special upgraded (minus the demonic ones) so they will lose to alot of things.
  
  Smash and wm are really the only skills you should be using with a 2h so yes those are wat we are looking at. Smash is your big damage dealer and you want to try and force a crit as much as possible. 2h doesn't even need a whole lot of str to use honestly, and it wont be that much gold to make a good one (unless your unlucky).

  Except your beams are reforged, so those aren't really "cheap" to a new player either, are they? Yes, the beams will be stronger for a character that has less than 200 str, but str gets a fast growth early on.
  I already showed you that 2h still does have good margin. To close that gap, you'd need double the reforging, and with that much money, you could invest in many other better things.
  And of course 2h falls behind puppetry in terms of utility. Does puppetry offer the high multiplier damage like smash though? Don't say act 2. Puppetry doesn't even really shine much if you don't have the dex to back it up anyways.
