  @Zeo - don't bother. Nobody cares because nobody in their right mind would play elf at this point, really.
  
  I'm saying you're right - but there's just no point. It would have been nice to see a DEX or INT based skill set, hell I'm pretty sure most elf players would be happy with a moveset which they were only slightly disadvantaged with at this point. But I think elf players threw their hands up in the air years ago and gave up on it being a race which was used seriously. In fact most people bought that card that gives you a high level human or giant when it came out.

  
  
  Currently my human uses, Puppet, Gunner, Magic, Lance and ranged.
  The longer I play with my human the less often I see myself use Melee or my lance less and less. Why you may ask? Because melee is an outdated skill especially when Ninja class is released. You use Smash and windmill, that's it.
  
  1v1 target firebolt dps excels over it, and Way of Gun. Aoe beats it with puppet, gunner, and Crash shot.
  
  If I was an elf, I could use Puppet, Gunner, Magic and ranged no problem. Lance is overrated anyways. It's great early levels, but it's not a needed skill set to use to clear content in mabi. Gunner, puppet, and firebolt does better in most cases.
  
  That being said, if you picked an elf don't expect to go melee. Melee is an outdated skill anyways, most human pros don't even use lances anymore unless they feel lazy and want to keep things simple. Aside from not being able to use decent melee, elf is a good class with running speed before ninja update.

  First quest was to talk to Alissa and view a scene, then talk to her again to complete the quest

  Second quest involved talking to Endelyon and viewing another scene, then talk to her again to complete it

  Third quest involved talking to Endelyon, then talking to the new female NPC located below. In the same quest, I then had to deliver 5 eggs to the new female NPC, and complete a ninja skills tutorial she explained that taught me how to use basic attacks and the "charging shuriken" skill. The quest rewarded me with Practice rank Charging Shuriken.

  The fourth quest involved talking with the male ninja NPC, going through some dialogue, and then completing another training shadow mission which involved learning "Shadow Assault." Then, I had to talk to him again to complete the quest.

  The fifth quest involved talking to the male ninja again, and completing a quick tutorial for "Ground Snare". After completing the quest, talk to him again to complete it.

  The sixth quest involved talking to the female ninja, acquiring 5 raw bacon from Caitin's store, and then talking to the male ninja for a few scenes involving the both of them. After the scenes, you talk to the female ninja for another training sequence, this time using Kunai Rush. Afterwards, talk to the male ninja and complete the quest.

  The seventh quest begins by talking to the male ninja. He gives you a rusty kunai to drop at alby's altar. The dungeon is 1 floor and is alby basic. After defeating the boss, you enter a cutscene where a 3rd, older ninja attacks the two other ninjas. After the cutscene, you receive a paper shuriken and can complete the quest.

  Elves are barely better at archer and....besides 2-3 mattack, the same as humans with magic. That's all they get. Meanwhile giants get a noticeably higher amount of str for more dmg. "But movement speed!" Everyone and their god damn grandmother jumps on any mount pet they get while doing anything these days anyway, and everyone at least has that starter horse. I don't want to hear that movement speed shit. It makes little difference. I know, I play a damn elf half the time. (I play all 3 races) And hide? There will soon be Escape from Treasure hunter. It's not a real hide skill, but it's the only kind that maters, hiding IN combat, not to avoid it. There are very VERY few points in this game where you hide to avoid combat.
  
  Also, giants get less dex mainly. That means two things for them. Less balance (hardly) and less puppetry dmg. That's it.
  Elves get less Str mainly. That means less defense (not too big a deal) and less dmg in warrior and gunner and puppets. It's also an extremely large gap compared to what they get for dex and int. If we do get ninja and it's still str and will based, then they'll have another skill set they have less dmg in.
  
  Regardless if they get another 200 str, they'll still be the weakest race, end of story. While I'll admit that at that point with the extra 200dmg they should be much better, it's still not fixing anything in the eyes of most players. Weakest by a large margin is still weakest. "But they still get slightly higher dex and int, so they are the strongest at a few things at least!" Yes and no. That's true, but being the strongest by a few points of dmg is nothing compared to be the weakest by a heck of a lot of points.
  
  On the other hand, if they are the weakest by a few points, then it doesn't mater much. But as it stands, they aren't.

  Consider how much max one individual has, consider how much damage 200 str would add in comparison, what? 80 max for melee in comparison to the OBNOXIOUS MAX WE HAVE ALREADY? CMON NOW.

  If in the end one person has 1000 max damage and the other has 1080 max. Is it that noticeably better when EVERYONE AND THEIR FUCKING MOTHER CAN SOLO ANYTHING?

  A dead mob is a dead mob. Does not mather if it got killed by 10k or 50k. As well i don´t care about str/will. Will benefit anyway.
  
  off topic:
  The thorn in my eye is crisis escape of the treasure hunter update and this hide like ninja skill.
  Love to use hide in orb rooms for make it out fast because i´m lazy. But when all other races can do this as well, this is not more special for elves, beside have less defence.
  Ofc i would like to see a skill where the elves are really better. And at this point, i want to say: Don´t look on the players which play this game for long time and capped their stats.
  It should be more like: In which talent is a giant / human / elf the strongest (even when new char).
  
  Back to topic:
  Ninja would had been a good chance to make an elf stronger in something then the others (on new chars). Because they are meaned to be more agile etc. imho i refuse to think that ninjas are giant like big.

  I'm pretty sure a Ninja elf(end-game) will be able to slaughter lord mission monsters just as well as a giant or human.

  This is still a testing thread, meant for discussion and news as we get them. Don't expect an official Ninja thread for a long time, until we made sure of everything. (And JP is sure they won't rebalance anything). We'll only write an official thread (like Master Chef and Treasure Hunter) when we know for sure anything we say is not misinformed and thoroughly proven.

  Except the gap is a percentage, that's how i view it anyway. I.E. Giant is x% better. this update lessens that %.

  Never told the game is hard as fuck. It is indeed easy after you get used to it.

  Then add the stuck mobs and it become... boring. Interesting dungeons would be the way to go. My problem here when it comes to dungeons: i don´t like soloing. I want to talk with someone.

  Mabi JP is now up from emergency maint.
  before this maint, ppl were abusing non-CT Yamiuchi-Sen allowing one to easily train skill(my friend for example ranked Yamiuchi-Sen to r2 before maint). You can easily check that by going to JP mabi wiki under skill page.
  there was a trick that you didn't know.(although its patched now)

  It can go either way at this point honestly.. there is a notice about the content update that things are subject to change, I'd say that's the main reason people think the stats could change. There is also, apparently, a ton of bitching going on from elves and etc., and unlike here in NA, the overseas Nexon companies actually listen to these complaints and make changes every now and again.
  
  ~As it stands, however, there is no solid evidence that there will be a change in the stats; it's all just wishful thinking for now. O:
