I'm amazed more people don't see Blaze as being OP. In MA/NPC/Lord runs these days, I literally stand there and do nothing while two people clear every round in 5 seconds. How is that not OP? I literally stand there and do nothing. I just don't see how people consider this a fun thing. I can't wait for the replies telling me how it isn't OP, I really, really can't wait.
Everyone knows blaze is op, jeez it can go up to 6 digits easily.
Even though its very situational it happens to be blaze's situations are met very often.
Problem is, how to fix it.

Well since you are so eager for somebody to tell you that it isn't op I will assist you: it isn't OP

Are they using Crisis and ice spear to assist the blaze? If so thats what makes blaze overpowered. Blaze on its own won't really get you anywhere though...

You can do it a million other ways, using pretty much any AOE you can clear NPC rounds in under 1 minute each. Also you're not crediting the power of crisis, which effectively turns blaze from a skill that hits 1~3 targets into a skill that hits everything. The point being that blaze just isn't the most OP aspect in mabi. If you nerfed blaze into the ground, what impact would it really have other than people taking a few more seconds per round for NPC? Also, who do you suppose would use blaze if you did so?
On that note, the only place I've ever seen people use blaze is NPC. People tend to center everything around NPC because it gives more exp than anything else in mabi. I think NPC can be considered overpowered in that aspect. It's become too easy, giving the NPCs some kind of crisis immunity and AOE pet immunity would help, but this needs some serious attention.

I agree with this, as someone who doesn't exactly enjoy grinding NPC arena, I'd rather have more grinding/leveling options.

Blaze doesn't need a nerf. We need tougher content with better rewards instead.

Is it too late to add catering to this list?
Holy fuck what was Devkitty thinking here.

The entire set of ace's has been a huge buff. This is no different from the addition of magic weapon master, singing, and hydra.

Magic and alchemy already received their major buffs prior to ace's. The ace's were just icing on the cake, this is no different imo from thigns like elemental wave, hydra, magic weapon mastery, snap cast, singing, fantastic chorus. Why is this being complained about now when such buffs to other classes already existed prior?

Oh look. Few Culinary Arts skills just came out and some people were already bashing on it for being "overpowered".
I wonder what is the next skill players will bash on saying it need a nerf even though it doesn't need one.

You can essentially divide the ace updates into two categories:
Vate/Druid + balance update, which basically brought really bad classes up to somewhat par
Singing/Catering which were buffs to things that were already overtuned (Singing just broke a broken talent even further, Catering just gives free stats to everyone at about 40-50k a pop.)

Pay 50k, get hundreds of free stats for your entire party.
Balanced.

You cant divide vate and druid into a separate category. The enlightenment update already buffed those 2, the aces are separate and are no different from diva and cooking ace. Vate and druid are again, no different from diva and cooking in any aspect of overpowered. Magic and alch got their buffs well before the ace's for them were introduced and u cant clump them together as an all together buff.

Also Druid and Vate were buffs to single classes.
Singing was a buff to every class that benefits from max damage (because of even easier Overture) and Catering is largely a buff to everyone, not just the Cooking talent (though it has the smallest benefit to mages and alchemists and the biggest benefit to puppeteers, fighters, gunners and lancers)
