  You know what else the TOS says you can be banned for? Having more than one word in your name. Using leetspeak. Speaking any language other than english. Cursing. Being rude. Hacking. Discussing illegal activity such as narcotics. Spamming. Having random letters for a name. Disclosing any personal information including age or name. Posting links to sites that aren't owned by Nexon. And a massive list of other things. If they were actually going to enforce the TOS they would have to ban every player in the game. Even if you want to talk about JUST exploits, stuck monsters are an exploit. Anyone who has ever killed a stuck monster has violated the TOS. And there are 9000 exploits more harmful than LUL FREE GEMS, but none of the people that do those things are getting banned.
  
  So why is this one so different? I'll tell you why. Because Nexon is trying to cover up their mistake and pretend it's not their fault for releasing an event they knew was broken.

  I admit I was kind of sarcastic when I blamed nexon lol Though I wouldnt call the mabi community drug dealers, more like druggies. It's like putting a vending machine for crack on the street corner and forgetting to put a mechanism to require money for said crack, of course the crack addicts are going to take and grab all the crack. I guess I don't really know who to blame lol glitches gonna be glitchin.

  the police weren't responsible for the faulty kiosks in the first place, that's all on store management. You're still comparing apples and oranges there. ANALOGIES ARE NOT THAT HARD, PEOPLE.

  On another note, I've been banned once or twice before for 3 days that I can remember (one of those random blanket bans, by the time my report about it was auto-replied to the ban was already lifted) and since then I've gone on to win two of Sabina's stupid events that I can recall. I've also received perfectly fine customer service (note: compared to everyone else who hasn't been banned its been on par), and was banned from billing with credit long before that (for no reason mind you!).

  Would like to point out, I was banned a couple years back for things dealing in money. I can no longer purchase nx via the official website directly, I have won a forum contest but did not receive my reward, and I have stopped receiving any emails regarding anything nexon related (minus ticket replies). An account I used in the mean time while banned also got those same bans applied to it.

  I'd have not minded being banned, since I just recently achieved master mage. I'm contemplating what to pursue next... but whatever, the current mob lag preventing finishing of them is preventing me from playing anyway. lol

  It's more like someone figured out how to break the vending machine and everyone got in on it. The players, unless they're oblivous idiots, realize they're exploiting glitches and shouldn't be but keep doing so because they're selfish. Nexon allowed an exploit to slip through the cracks, took way too long to notice, took way too long to fix it, and was afraid to give the many players who ceaselessly abused it more than a slap on the wrist.
  
  If you're wondering who to blame, it would be silly to say "Nexon/devCAT" or "the players" because they are both to blame. Nexon could have prevented this from happening with more effort in testing and bug fixing, but didn't. The players could have not abused the glitch, but did. Say 90% of the population was arrested for murder, would you think the murderers were justified? Players don't care if they're cheating as long as they feel safe from punishment and that disgusts me, regardless if one or every player is doing so. Its not Nexon's fault that players cheated; it's Nexon's fault that players were given the ability to cheat, and players fault for cheating.
  
  It's not all doom and gloom though, there are players who had to ability to cheat but didn't due to moral principles or genuine honesty. I commend these players and hope they continue to do so. Many of these players are just as serious about the game as those who abused the exploit, but chose not to even though Nexon has repeatedly let them down by releasing exploits or failing to take action or enough action against exploiters. Something like that shows true character, you have both my respect and my thanks. Seriously, good job.

  Bunch of people got banned, they deserved it as they abused the glitch, and Nexon was also dumb enough to make a flaw in the event.
