  well it may be dumb but this is the only thing worth talking about anyhow on mabi besides ap events.
  
  the fact is that if there was no exploit, hardly anyone would of cared about the liar event at all, not even bothering to touch it. in reality they banned the only people who actually cared about their event.
  
  it just goes to show how badly crafted the event is and how out of touch with the player base they are.

  One should note that Nexon NA is basically just publishing the game. In order to fix the glitch, they'd have to get a new patch from overseas that would take who knows how long. Thus, they had a choice between releasing the glitched event and not having an event at all...
  
  I'm ok with them giving us nice things and slapping the people who are the motivation between possibly not giving us nice things. I also have zero sympathy for people who complain about getting banned for something they know is bannable...Abuse it if you must, but don't whine when Nexon actually follows through on consequences for once. That said...it's refreshing to see how many people abused it and are cool with the bans...in a twisted sort of way.

  This may come as a shock to people, but NEXON NA HAS A DEVELOPMENT TEAM. Well who cares, they don't do anything but glue together big KR patches right? They have made their own events, held weekly maintenances, and localized the entire game. That doesn't mean they could fix bugs or make rash decisions right? They have their own test server, fixed hundreds of bugs, and have taken the game down for unscheduled maintenances hundreds of times.

  In other news, I feel like there would be a LOT less abuse if Nexon actually enforced their TOS. When people KNOW they can get away with shit, human nature takes over and they usually do it. And that's the situation here. Nexon rarely/never actually enforces any of their own rules, so everyone is 100% certain that nothing they do will ever get punished.
  
  Now, if these bans are the first step towards Nexon actually enforcing their rules and punishing people who do bad things? Great! I'm all for it!
  
  If this is a one-time thing and they are going to go right back to being lazy fucks that let hackers get away with murder with no punishment? Then fuck you Nexon, I should go abuse things out of spite until you learn your fucking lesson.
  
  (Personally, I have no faith in Nexon and am leaning towards option 2.)
