Thoughts on new updates

  I feel as if this new patch will cause Mabi to be grindy as hell. Honestly, I was quite content with rebirthing every 3 weeks; it was the perfect pace. Now -- I must beat the clock every week.

  Looking forward to putting in less effort to get enough AP for newer content. The beginner updates were nice, but if moon gate book lasts past 1k and we can't get it, i'll be sad. That and the tir stone.

  Why? People can comfortably do as little as they want now and still be competitive in a few months in anything. This was a necessary update to close the gap between the end game and the early game.

  Well you don't have to max level each rebirth let alone that every week its easy to level to just get a bit ap. So it won't really be grindy much.

  I know how you feel. I typically spam MA for the first week I rebirth and relax the next two weeks. Now I gotta spam MA every week, and take care of multiple alts at the same time. It's a lot of work. Good thing is I can level a lot faster now.

  Hmm, thanks for the info on the moon gate book. I know that the beginner's benefits were raised to 1k so that people can get to end game faster, but I think 1k is still a bit much. I was thinking around lv500, instead.

  Yes, but my meaning of 'competitive' differs from yours, however I do understand your point. I'll be trying for level 100 every week, however I could easily get to 80 or so every week and still make [SIZE="4"]way[/SIZE] more progress than I did before.

  Yeah, I was basically running around like a decapitated chicken when I first heard of this. I guess I could just spam till my combat level is 80 and my exploration is 20.

  This is a really useful update for most players but it's a bit beneath me. I will no longer need Ability Points if they release the talent AP. Otherwise, i'm still around 2k from capping everything.
  
  I really...really...fucking wish that they would update the Combo Card system. I would love for them to make combo cards permanent so I could build premium cards for all of my talents. That would mean far more to me than some new [S]club penguin[/S] facial features.

  Pretty much. You now have the choice to grind and then rebirth each week for free.

  If you got to 100 every three weeks and want to rebirth every week, you can still get level 77 three times with the same amount of effort. With level 20 exploration you can get 16 now. That means 99 + 19 is now (76 + 15) * 3, 118 to 276. It's even more of an increase if you can still do it every 6 days.

  Love the free weekly RB's, can finally go back to frivolously spending my spare cash on my usual, absurd shopping binges. Really disappointed with the new facial features for elves, though. They're not only limited but most pretty much look ridiculous - we continue to remain the unloved stepchild of this game.
