I think they've just been trying to justify STR's CP contribution in a post-g13 game. Personally, I think they could've generated just as much excitement if they halved that value. HP as well.

The formula for the radius of the circle is "300+(x*20)" with a maximum radius of 600 at 15 charges.
There is a reforge that increases the radius of the skill further. The original formula can result in a radius of 90,000 units.
Ah, JP wiki says that Kunai Rush does ignore protection for calculating critical. Also, each of the multiple hits has a separate chance of being critical.
Hhhng yes. Originally I was all "Oh a new skillset alright I'll play with it a little and see if it's a fun" but then I saw the STR (and then the AP:STR) and now I plan to actually use it.

Idk about having 900 base at 1/1 (least i know i can't) and i capped all skills that give str (all need is 5 str from trans collection) but that boost gonna make gunner/lance ridiculous strong and that will to and hp.... ALL THEM STATS!! MUST HIT MY EXCITEMENT OUT :shoe:

Now the difference is too small
So more or less.. it already did, but now even more~ archery needs a buff, yeah? Basic melee still does too but.. even though lances get the same buff basic melee does with this, basic melee will get closer to faceroll status. Archery is really sadly trailing behind however..
They should do something like introduce giant bows that get 600% magnums and way more max or something, with two-handed enchant potential lmao (and to be clear, I don't mean the race, just bigger bows for more power)
240 stat difference is small?
Never said anything about any stat differences being small or big.
Right now, there's a clear abundance of dex, and even with lance's absurd position in the most of the content, range still held its good position.
I'd only give into this because it's situational, then again, you probably have lots of reforges to boost it, but my opinion is based on more of well, the base.
Now the 240 stat difference is reduced to around 60-70. If there's a significant buff to one main class (melee), there ideally should be another buff for another main class (range in this class).

Before this patch, archery didn't really need buff. Archery still facerolls contents, just as well as lances. In fact, even though I'm using GM warrior, I'm still at a place where I'm using my bow more often, largely because of the high DPS it provides, as well as dex being more abundant for me.
I would like to ask you what reforges your bow and clothing have, seeing as you -need- that extra amount of dex to barely -even out- with lances if you're just going with, let's say, full enchanted sets where only weapons are reforged, if that.
We didn't really need absurd amount of str from this patch. A shit ton of will with lower str (around 60) should have been the answer.

As for follow up patches, I wanna see either one of the things:
1. More dex
2. or higher skill multiplier for ranged skills and better enchanting options for bows.

To be fair, only your server can really consider a Bhafel combo so half-heartedly.

And a note.. isn't it already decided that level up stats increase str and will both by 0.25? Why is there just a question mark in that spot?
Not 900 base, 900 real str, as in the number shown in yellow.
In my case, I had 513 base str, so missing about 55 str. I also have GM warrior, so the total bonus would add up to 683. Add like 220 thanks to the str bonus of ninja skills and talent, you get 900 at 1/1. Easy, don't even need to have capped str at this moment.
There's going to be so many people with capped strength after this comes out, with use of hot chocolate catering. In fact, strength will be more plentiful then dexterity for humans. I'm not the only one getting tired of the giant favouritism ever since the defensive/stat update. The QQ elves are going to have a field day when this comes out, and it's getting harder to blame them for it. I'm not saying this because there's a new strength-based talent, rather because of the massive advantages lancers have received lately.
Irregardless, it doesn't amount to much besides higher numbers on the already dead mobs. Hopefully the skills themselves are enjoyable for everyone, and they don't turn out to be the next intensely grindy skill they feel obligated to train.
Heh funny im a giant and i don't like the favoritism not that i consider defensive/stat update favoritism for giants. But that str and will for ninja is so stupid imo.

You forgot to mention how much str/will influences shuriken damage and how special upgrades apply to them.
