Thoughts about Saga 2?

  Oh wow, you are right. I never even had that thought occur to me for some odd reason, and I used to play and love that game a lot as a kid.

  I actually liked the Prologue to Episode 2. Sure I had a problem with the glitched boar quest and I raged a little. Buuuut, it was challenging enough.
  
  Merlin, like everyone says, is a dumb lovestruck guy. But I dunno, I like that part of him. It really makes his serious moments (if you would called lolmetoer-ing a Nald and thinking about what would happen to him if he didn't find Tarlach serious) really stand on.
  Starlet sort of give me a dull feeling, like there could have been more to her. Like a lot more pep and facial expression. I did giggle at her bad food, though.
  Professor J..he's the educational type. But he's so booksmart he doesn't know when to follow his heart or his gut on something. Just facts. Sad that apparently there won't be anymore of the two. (Prolly went to go get married or some shit.)
  
  Oh yeah, Culinary Artist. Food and crushing on older women..that make food. Okay?
  
  Now the parts that got to me were:
  1. The Kristell and Tarlach thing just disappeared?? I was expecting some sort of sympathy or hint of hot-blooded, fierce, everlasting LOVE.
  2. Ruairi needs much more screen time.
  3. Okay, I know is spookyspoopskeletonpumpkinbatchkids month but the nightmare gave me the CREEPY JEEBYS. (Nice touch though.)
  4. Aodhan..my fellow..you don't remember your savior of the dead prince..?
  5. Treasure Hunter, you greedy sack of fake diamonds, I hope you perish with your prices. (I knew why I had the sinking feeling when I saw your smug grin on the login screen that day.)
  6. More difficult quests please.
  
  But overall, good stuff. Can't wait for the next episode. Definitely put a smile on my face and a laugh or two to blow out my sides.

  Pretty sure this is no accident or coincidence and that devcat actually went out to other games for inspiration on what fun missions they could try and throw in the saga.

  Oh yeeeah, that. I just think of it as a zombified version since y'know Crumena's dead. You just have to think, why does Crumena now have that "symbol" just like the Nald on it's stomach? Also why is it a rich darken red color instead of the royal red color that it usually is?

  After playing through all the 2 episode and the Prologue, i have to say that I hope the story get serious fast, i am fine with the prologue and first episode being not so serious. Neid and Crumena shared the same symbol so looks it like Ruairi is controlling them somehow ( since Ruairi started getting dragon horns and stuffs in the opening ). That and i hope Ruairi at least die for good at the conclusion of the bloody saga or at least finally clear up the bloody misunderstanding that he had on us in G2.

  I haven't really read up on the story or events in Saga 2, so i've mostly been at this mainstream blind. Having completed everything released to date, i've got to say; the story is still extremely bad but the writing is pretty entertaining and episodes 2 and 3 have been a blast.
  
  That last one had some many unique things that i'm actually sort of blown away. Mabinogi has always been pretty dull but they managed to make that fetch quest shine.
