As of currently Elves can't dual wield anything useful
Sorry for suddenly getting my hopes up but seeing this makes me think elves does get something to dual wield (even if its useless) which would result them in obtaining the dual wield mastery?

I do hope they do something with magic though. Like an AOE that doesn't take a ridiculously long time time to load, and something to help keep or create distance if the enemy gets too close to charge.
Except magic is good where it's at.
Magic has good Aoe (Blaze) for the cost of casting time, which isn't even alot. Asking for a shorter time shouldn't be done.
When the enemy gets too close, that's when you use shockwave or windmill. Pretty simple.

Agreed. Maybe the only thing I would change about magic, is to make Meteor Strike more viable.
No one really use Meteor Strike because of 30 minute cooldown, that cooldown length is way too absurdly long. Plus not to mention, we can deal more damage than what Meteor (including critical) can do within like 1 minute too... lol. I'd just change it so it have 15 minutes cooldown or something like that.
Other than being off-topic.
I'm still praying that they'll give a way for the elves to dual-wield so they can learn the dual wield mastery, which would leave the racial gap the same instead of increasing the gap even further..
Ya Meteor Strike was a real kick in the ass. The master title is the only worthwhile thing about that skill as it's the best possible magic title you can use. Other than that, it's damage is rather lackluster for it's absurd cooldown. I seriously thought it would do a lot more than what it ended up doing.
Prior to this update, the Human-Elf Dex gap (excluding level/age stats), was very tiny. A 14 stat difference, elves had 14 more dex than humans. After this update, the gap is even smaller, but now it is in favor of humans, by 8 dex.
Plus Firebolt deals really good damage if you stack your cards right (Able to easily hit 30k firebolts these days). Also with the druid skills, magic got a pretty nice boost imo. As now your adv magics won't go to waste and you can charge a safe distance away if you prefer to stay a safe distance from your foes and packs a really nice punch when you do hit with it.
And they still haven't removed the huge dex reduction from heavy armors that elves have, unless I'm reading this thread incorrectly.
In the past people used bolts within other skillsets/weaponry, people used blaze in melee combos/non-crisis, and intermediate magic was used at less charges because of time constraints, mana costs, and for controlling effects. You see this happen with a lot of sets though, mainly because of intense controlling effects like crisis, summon effects, rain clouds, and now aggro-drop skills as well as OHKO across the board.
Ignoring the fact that you're endgame, you're right. Magic is fairly okay where it's at.
