  I think scythes count as melee weapon but don't have a mastery. It'd be nice if someone can test this out though because I want to know how much of this update I can use.
  
  I know it won't get any of the sword/axe/blunt effects but some effects are for close combat weapons so I'm wondering if those do apply. Like the counterattack letting you walk if you use a close combat weapon.

  With this update, Close Combat Melee now feels like it's own thing. Before, it felt like...well...just a thing, a very basic thing. There was nothing 'special' to it. Now it at least has some things that are just for it, while still being there for other talents to use with their weapons and stuff.

  Kaeporo is the only person to have made that claim, and KR translators looked through patch notes to find that it was never listed.
  That being said, JoeyDee9 went on KR test server today to try it himself and reported back that the FH duration is the same.

  Tho most likely someone on some chinese fansite listed it as a thing and everyone just rolled with it cause no reason not to.

  I'm going to say that Elves get the longer end in the archery, even with the update, because Elves can actually get the mastery. I'm sorry, but I'm really fucking tired of hearing Elf sucks bullshit. We're not some dumbasses in Nexon Forum. Elf archery is different in human archery in a way that it focuses on DPS. No matter what you do, human archery DPS will never follow up with Elf archery DPS, and to be honest, just by that, it does make Elf archery superior, even if the margin isn't that big. While I agree that archery needs more love, I'd still say Elves don't suck.
  
  You can MAYBE say that human archery is on par with Elf's, but if you're going to say that Elf archery is worse than human's, I'm going to have to strongly disagree with that. There are plenty better archers than me, but I've done enough archery on both human and Elf to know what I'm talking about.
  
  As for the FH with Knuckles, the duration is the same. One thing that's different, however, is that when you use FH with Knuckles, you will lose durability.

  What about chef's passion (which isn't even considered a sword but is pseudo dual-wield), lances, wands, staffs, control bars, instruments, etc.? I know they aren't meant to use FH but still.

  If it's only Melee weapons that don't lose Dura during FH then it does NOT count towards anything you listed, none of these are considered Melee Weapons by the game as a Test i did regarding the ability to walk with counter showed i was only able to do it with Swords, Blunts and Axes.
