  Edit: While I'm here, please tell me the tri-bolt wand does NOT have a chaincasting upgrade that works on multiple elements.
  As much as I'd love to see chaincasted bolt fusion happen as a mage, there's no way to balance that crap.

  My thoughts exactly. They already called Hailstorm and Meteor Strike "advanced" magic skill, and they both share the same circle symbol while loading.
  
  Lightning Rod came out in testing server and it used the exactly same circle symbol while loading, so it's more than logical enough to call it advanced magic skill as well.

  All damages are calculated with non-critical, repeated 30 times.
  
  With Magic Attack 247, Max Damage is 4250 (Highest out of 40 tries)
  (365 + 247 * x) = 4250

  You're locked in for approximately 2 seconds.
  If you move, the skill is cancelled.

  Exactly, Advanced Magic is an official term. Only Nexon can decide what is and isn't Advanced Magic, it's not up to players' interpretation and I have yet to see translations saying Lightning Rod is. Basically with anything, it is not until it is. Screw Occam's Razor, no assumptions or gtfo. The solution with the fewest assumptions still has assumptions.

  Cetlic Guardian can use Party Heal but the other two weapons cannot.
  
  The Wand can chaincast all three bolts, but cannot use intermediate magic, but can use blaze. It cannot chaincast fusion bolt, as soon as you upgrade it to chaincast it loses the ability to use fusion bolt. The wand's chaincast upgrade accounts for all three elements. You don't have to like, do three separate upgrades for each element.

  I'm not particularly fond of the first change. The standby period (and associated stun duration) may be detrimental in party play but it gives it some situational usefulness compared to Fireball. What's the point of having two nearly identical skills?
  
  I'm a huge fucking fan of the changes to Hail Storm. Halved load time with increased duration? That really helps justify usage.

  I should point out that normally load time and cool time isn't in the variables, but for Mana Recovery its in its regular spot and variable, and for Lightning Rod it's in JUST variables and the cooldown and charge time is set 0 in the regular spot, DevCAT has been formatting the skill file really strangely lately.
