I disagree. Reforges act as an extension of your character development. A way for me to progress (because lord knows that's all this game has going for it) and differentiate my character from yours. My character is strong but you can view my reforges to see how i'm strong; what I value.
Reforges aren't the issue. Specific reforges, their RNG reliance, and their availability are the problem. The system itself is fully realized. Besides, if you remove reforges at this point, you might as well throw all forms of melee, archery, and martial arts in the trash.
I vote for removing and revamping reforges completely. None of this korean RNG bullshit.
I agree, the stamina rate is what makes Spellwalk unusable to me. I had to derank it because its better to walk slowly than be drained of all my stamina in barely a few seconds.

Huh? Spellwalk is amazing. At 840 Stamina, it takes me roughly 1-2minutes of just standing still to drain all my stam, and potions do exist. And that's a small price to pay for being mobile while using magic and being able to kite with Firebolt.
What's wrong with Lightning Bolt? Do you want it to start pumping out 20k damage per hit or something?
Lightning Bolt was meant to be an area of effect wasn't it? It does piss poor at that job. The conductivity feature is just outright useless and something that NO ONE would ever do. To add insult to injury, it gets even weaker as it chains, by 10% per enemy. They could have made a single Lightning Bolt charge hit more targets at higher ranks and thus make it "self-conductivity", and remove the chain weakness.

I still find it amazing that people hate reforges which give 1.5x at most net power (and for some skillsets it's more like 1.1x net power) while defending the old system of pay to win rebirthing which gave 3-5x net power over people who couldn't afford to pay 520 dollars a year (520 dollars that will likely get you a full set of reforges of any skillset you want), and spare me the EVERYONE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TO THE SAME LEVEL ANYWAY shit, if we're generous and assume that a freebirther in 2009 is averaging 100 levels per RB (and that's actually ridiculously fucking unreasonable because for a huge chunk of that period it was harder to achieve 50 then than 100 now), we're looking at, assuming never taking a hiatus ever, a player at 8.5k today. The paid rebirther would have passed that mark roughly 2-3 years ago.
Anyone who thinks reforges ruined the game (as opposed to saving the game by giving Nexon a new income stram that didn't freeze 80% of the playerbase out of meaningful character progression) is fucking deluding themselves.
I don't see anyone defending the old RB system. That's completely unrelated to how broken certain reforges are.
And yes, a 50% power boost is absolutely huge. Nothing else comes close to that kind of boost, meaning that reforges are a more instant form of the old divide between players. Yes, reforges could be good. No, their current form is not healthy for anything but Nexon's wallet, if that.
