    I don't see anyone defending the old RB system. That's completely unrelated to how broken certain reforges are.

    And yes, a 50% power boost is absolutely huge. Nothing else comes close to that kind of boost, meaning that reforges are a more instant form of the old divide between players. Yes, reforges could be good. No, their current form is not healthy for anything but Nexon's wallet, if that.

    Battlefield Overture normally grants a 36% damage bonus (without reforges) to nearly every class.
    ...and piercing, which increases damage by upwards of 75%.

    Don't forget all of the new stats from skills, bone chips, and various debuffs. If you removed reforges, melee and archery would become pretty terrible; otherwise, we would be just as overpowered. Nothing would change for the better.

    nothing helping it = normal output
    No reforge + Overture = better output
    Reforge + Overture = much better output

    That being said, I'm fine with reforges IF they weren't this unbalanced and 99% pay only. I could see them somehow turning them into some kind of special sub upgrade for your gear to help out with dmg, balance, crit chance, certain skills and their effects, and balancing it all better.
