Looking back, I still think Lightning Bolt has problems. Wasn't it meant to be "conducted"? Who does that anymore, AT ALL? It's area of effect properties are worsened that the chain deals 10% less damage per enemy.

I disagree. Reforges act as an extension of your character development. A way for me to progress (because lord knows that's all this game has going for it) and differentiate my character from yours. My character is strong but you can view my reforges to see how i'm strong; what I value.
Reforges aren't the issue. Specific reforges, their RNG reliance, and their availability are the problem. The system itself is fully realized. Besides, if you remove reforges at this point, you might as well throw all forms of melee, archery, and martial arts in the trash.

I agreed with this. Reforges are the worst addition they've ever done to Mabinogi the whole time.
Other than that... I want to add that me and my friends are disappointed they did nothing about spellwalk this update... maybe they'll change that soon, haha.

What were you expecting? IMO the 2x MP cost is dumb due to the massive drawbacks this skill already has, and maybe Magic Shields need to be compatible, otherwise I don't see what else.

I think reforges should exist but should not be so totally fucking random. They should offer reforges specific to different skill sets, while keeping the price and the rest of the functions the same. Kind of how there's a comerce reforge there should be melee, mage, archery and everything else reforges. As a mage I don't want to get alchemy or dex or puppet shit on my items when I'm trying to get magic effects.
As for certain specific reforge effects being OP I wouldn't know but I'm sure some of them are ridiculous.

That's exactly my argument.
1. Things like Crash Shot Fragment Count should be toned down to improve the viability of something like Evasion Limit Reduction and reduce power creep.
2. Reforges should be less random; they should reward ability and dedication, not luck.
3. Reforges should be available via in-game means.

The stamina consumption is pretty rough, especially since most players don't have like 3k+ of the stuff. Hopefully they either tone that down or buff the stamina reduction set effect.

Ehh, not really much of a point to the mana cost since people just load it, then use SW.
I'm still kind of annoyed that they didn't do anything to adjust Lightning Bolt's area of effect. Wasn't that the main purpose of that skill?
