Thank you Tetosan. Those subskills are still a grind but at least its more bearable now.
Now if only they would consider adjusting the divine exp requirements for leveling up like they did for base exp and exploration exp. Probably won't happen until they are completely done with all the Crusader skills.

Haha, I was saying the similar thing several pages ago... I was really hoping they raised the cap on Crusader levels and changed the curve in EXP table so it's easier to get at least 150 Crusader levels to actually make two of the useful skills noticeable.

I still wish that one day, they'll make Celestial spike ignore all defensive stats and damage reduction on apostles/normal enemies.
Or at least make it affected by stats, like magical attack or something. D;
It's so weeeeak, but at least it's useful in Girgashiy raids.

To be honest, I don't really care for them to adjust the formula that much. At least if they do, I want them to cap it at 150 so you can still only have enough points to max all the subskills to max for two of the skills and have to reallocate to switch roles.

I doubt it, the director in the interview did say he want to make the crusader skills actually useful outside the raid. We probably can expect some changes with the Crusader levels, especially for the cap being raised, and the curve being changed so you can get levels bit more easily.
We still have G21 and G22 to go, according to the interview from a while ago, right? So we can expect several more crusader skills to come out as well and it'd be really wise to uncap the crusader levels to at least enough for all the subskills for each Crusader skill and change the curve so it's would feel more like you're actually getting some levels instead of having to mindlessly grind for a week to just get one crusader level.

Although I doubt devCat will make that change any time sooner, IMHO.
Throughout years, devCats have inflated several "resources" that were much more valuable before. Gold, AP points, training exp for skills, etc. When they decided to introduce new currency the Ducat that is untradable, it was soon inflated due to hacks unfortunately.
Although inflation of gold is bad, but it is not the end of the day. Stuff just have a higher price tag. However, if AP are easier to obtain and old skills are easier to train, more people will reach their goal sooner, thus making them playing less than they used too.
Also, introduction of double, triple, quadruple AP events (not sure if it is happening in NA or not), were supposed to let new players catching up; but instead, veteran players had more advantages on farming APs from NPC runs (now even VH Girgashiy runs) that are not very newbie friendly. Also, after such events, players tend to leave, because "why should I grind now if all I need is to wait for another AP boost event?" And similar things happen to skill training.
That being said, devCat is constantly developing new contents to keep players active. And crusader exp is (currently) serving such role.
Although, I really hate the current crusader exp system. Since for shield of trust, celestial spike and judgement blade share CD, meaning they could not use simultaneously, why not make leveling harder but each crusader level gained gives one point to all three skills, so that I do not need to restat every time I want to swap my role. (Also, there is no button to allocate maximum points to a single subskill).

I do quite like the that idea, and it'd make the crusader levels have more potentials. Although, what will you do about the Divine slink skill when it does come out?

Yea, I do think the level should be uncapped by 75 for every new cooldown-group skills. (Like Divine Link is a separate cooldown to the G19 skills. But if lets say G21 adds two new skills and they share a cooldown with Divine Link, then the cap shouldn't be raised.)
Though I would have personally made it so 1 divine level gives you 1 point for the G19 skills and G20 skill, without them ever mixing, and capping them at level 75 (as opposed to 150 for two cooldown groups).

I don't think NA has done an AP event in 2015. Not sure if they did it in 2014. There was some year where it was like a weekly or every other week thing, that there'd be an unannounced AP event, and that pissed people off. NA seems to have gotten stingy with AP events, which I'm fine with. Personally, I wish AP events and 2x life skill events and life skill destinies/talents never existed so I never feel pressured to save my materials for a day that may not come in half a year.

If they did that, I'd hope they'd make you choose and lock into a role when entering the mission. You don't want people just swapping roles midmission. I don't really think the director cares about restricting roles outside of divine missions, but it does sound like the kind of thing devcat would want (but fail at doing), because they want the skills to be useful outside of the mission and roles are the whole purpose of the skills.
What I don't get is, why haven't they like, added a dungeon yet where every monster is effected somehow by these divine skills and not just the boss. Kind of seems like a missed opportunity for the director to show his vision with alban.

Ooooh, I like the idea of making it so you get one point for each category of Crusader skills like you have stated, Kapra.. It'll at least actually make the crusader levels useful.

I am expecting an offensive skill that relies on magic attack in future updates.
Also, for celestial spike, they could totally merge at least 2 subskills that are totally useless and add a subskill that amplifies damage (say by 15% at lv15) for the duration.

Something I want to change about what I said earlier. Instead of locking you out of a skill by picking a role, it'd probably be better to lock you out of the skills' subskills rather than the skill entirely. So before the raid mission starts, you might choose to be a Judgement Blade role. You can still use Shield of Trust just in case you need to and nobody else can, but your subskills are disabled for that skill for this instance. That seems less harsh while still keeping with what the director is going for (I think).

But with the difficulty of earning crusader levels, that's already the case. People pump all of their points into their role, but if they need to emergency shield or something they can still have the skill itself r1 and just do that.
