How much is it in KR?
I have your answer now!

I think it's worth the NX.

As much as skill training seals (and reforges for that matter) disrupt proper gameplay and character progression in the eyes of veterans, once they're implemented there's no real choice but to also take advantage of them even if you disagree with their existence.
As mentioned above, it's nexon's fault that the opportunity exists.
That said, it was a better game when life skills were more relevant and it took people months/years to rank certain life skills. Those who succeeded at it got to experience a pretty unique and cool social aspect to the game that doesn't really exist anymore.

It certainly doesn't, all right. I just strongly believe that progressing with such vital part of this game as skills should require some effort. I'm cool with paying for double training or extra AP, there's no problem with training seal as a reward for something, but this is just too much.
And to be clear, I don't blame people for buying those things. I blame Nexon for creating such opportunity.

Jokes aside, I find this much better than having no option at all.
You might say grinding is also part of Korean MMORPG, but being able to P2W is ALSO a part of Korean MMORPG.
Having an 'option' is always nicer than having none at all.
Besides, it's not like people MUST buy this Training Seal anyway.

The main problem I have with this feature is that it gives an opportunity for these P2W players to pretty much extend their e-peen on a real-life community.
Now, if it was someone like runes who DOESN'T brag about his Paid Gaming experience, I'd be completely cool with it.
It's just that there will be at least one piece of shit who thinks he's good for having r1 everything after paying hundreds of dollars for it, then has the nerve to brag or oppress those who do not have such a luxury.
Then I agree with everyone's comment that Nexon shouldn't have made this kind of thing.
But then again, they are called "Don-xon" for a reason.

The other than is thing is that it isn't exactly cheap using these for every skill in the game. This particular sale does make it considerably cheaper though. However, buying your way to r1 is nothing to brag about as you didn't put in the effort to do it and if you didn't put in the effort, you shouldn't belittle others work.
If such people exist, that's the fault of the community and not the fault of Nexon themselves. While yes, it is pretty crappy that there is yet another pay2win players can buy. These sales are still quite rare and uncommon.
Personally I reserve these for the skills I absolutely cannot tolerate ranking such as Smokescreen, Magic Crafting, Sakuya Abyss, and Carpentry.
I think Magic Crafting and Carpentry are the only skills I ranked to r1 via training seals and I at least made an effort to get somewhat far on my own (Magic Crafting was r9 before I pay2win'd it and Carpentry was I think r7? maybe lower before I went fudge it and pay 2 won it)

well what i did for engineering and magic craft was: get 30% of training through crafting hillween/shyllien then brionac and adventurer seals.
i hate how expensive is use brionac training on blacksmithing, enchanting and carpintery, specially enchanting... such a boring skill that gives noo real advantage on ranking it above 5.

Oh nice, definitely will do this for Hilwen rA/8+ at least lol. For blacksmithing, not sure since I wouldn't want my mats I bought during bazaar to go to waste once this comes out.

Actually, any form of bragging is annoying as fuck. It doesn't have to be someone who paid their way to the top, or someone who has invested their time to grinding the skill. Time = Money, and if I can buy my way to the top with the additional credit that I have from my work, I would because it is far more efficient.
i.e. if my work pays me 15 dollars an hour, I could spend my time working and buying those skill seals (effectively 8 of them due to the 1+1 event), it is far more effective to pay for the skills and do whatever I want in-game than to be forced to grind for the skills (Which, in my opinion, is negative gameplay if it requires you to spend 8 hours on a single skill, Hillwen Engineering, Magic Crafting, Snap Casting, Enchanting, blah).
Even if you've invested your time and manually grinded to the top, you are, in fact, just as justified as the person who has brought their way to the top to brag about your achievements. It is annoying, and no one should really be entitled to do these sorts of shit, but it's not going to stop happening because you pointed it out.

I think P2W only apply to a game that have intensive PvP element. Like DotA, LoL and all other MOBA and FPS/TPS games. Why? Because if the game only have PvE element like PSO2, they'll be no complain about they're losing because other player pay to get better gear than them. In fact, they'll be very happy to have such a high level-tier player in the same map/bosses. Increasing their chance of winning.
With Mabinogi that PvP not that intensive or require to level-up/progressing the story. I find no real reason to call 'Pay to get better XXX' is P2W anyway. Also added to what CIRNO said, working in real-life and spend them in game is also one of the game income too. In my country, only problem with P2W because children have a lot of time playing, but don't have that much income to buy cash shop item and get ahead of their friend/rival. But adult don't have that problem, they have income, but only thing they don't have is... time...

NA Mabinogi has never released the training skill seals directly from cash shop before... But I do hope we get this.
It'll at least help me finish up on rest of skills that require CP training, then I won't have to worry about the CP when it comes to training stuffs now.

Don't worry, NA not doing anything before isn't conclusive. Remember, there was a long time where NA only had general shop reforges and people were saying NA would never released cash shop reforges.

But, by then, I hope the get a server merge before that first due to the low amounts of players on Ruairi, Mari and Tarlach.

Mari's player base isn't that low honestly. Channel 2 (mari's market channel) was Full last night when I was on.
I don't think I've ever had issues in Mari with finding any item from a gachapon for sale. I'd rather Mari stay Mari and not get merged at all.
