Royal knight armor is good period, along with all other heavy armor. You don't even need enchants for 99% of the content in game any more because you level up so fast. Gacha kills production skills, and releases stuff better than the majority of equipment you could get yourself. Basic Avenger armors(an older example), and other crap that render enchant hunting useless. Though I haven't seen the gacha in ages so I don't know how valid this still is.
Rainbows are great, there are better weapons sure. 150+ attack beatsicks that buff up your base damage, and render the majority of the melee equipment in the game useless is still an issue though. CRK is better yes, especially enchanted. The seals are bullshit because you can bypass little snags in skills. The last 10% in some life skill ranks are an example. You can also shit all over the shock pages with them, though I haven't personally tried this to confirm. Sure you can get the Ice spear pages through dungeons, and it may be faster, but the seal method shouldn't even be an option in the first place. You can obtain all this crap from dailies. It makes everything outside of that even more obsolete. Sure I COULD go run fiohd or rundal, but why? There is almost no possible reason why I would want to do that. It's not just those, it's a giant chunk of the current game. SO many things serve a purpose for a quest or two, then you will never have any reason to go there again. It's like almost everything is Iria G11. Nobody goes there to do anything unless it's part of Gwhateverinthefuck, and serves no real purpose because there is some broken way to do it better and faster.
My point is, shit is majorly out of balance. Every time things take a step forward, we take two steps back. They do a bunch of cool shit to make exploration and Iria dungeon better, Arc Lich. Everything in game too easy, release Alban and ignore everything else. Combat skills out of wack? Over power final hit and release broken skills. Magic sucks? Low cooldown burst skill Lightning rod. Alchemy suck? Hydra and play dead or raincast, then your god. The last good skill decision they made was nerfing golem. It's like the developers haven't played the game.
But you did say "But what is there you can't do at around 2k or even 1k if your ap fed?" while making an exception of Alban, Abyss, Peaca int. The other elite missions definitely fall under your category, so yes, it is valid. You also can't just say spam Bone Dragons, because not everyone will have them, and quite many are actually reluctant to have multiple Bone Dragons, nor can you expect lower tier players to have multiple of them. Nao is free is invaild, as only the event ones are free and they're not infinite. As for guardian stones, yes you can get them with seals, but I also assume you have better uses for your seals.
If you don't need enchant like you said, then again, try soloing the contents I mentioned with no enchant at 2k level. Don't need it, right? So no, it's not "Royal Knight Armor is good period". To complete higher level contents in this game, you do need enchants, and if you want an efficient runs in elite missions, enchants are very highly suggested.
For "Gacha kills production skills", it depends on Gacha, but you're not gonna get Bhafel Combo just out of Gacha, nor would you be getting the dragon armors, as well as the shurikens. Oh, and also, guns. Cross empire guns don't count because they're mid roll dowras. Basic Avenger is an outdated enchant combo to use as we all know the effectiveness of blood master title, and enchant hunting is not useless, when you can't get enchants like champion, long-lasting, steel needle, solo, from Gacha.
Rainbow is still shit because with enough damage, someone in nation created a chart, and I remember it saying that even R6 battle swords will outperform beams. Also, 490 seals just to get rF shock is ridiculous (yes, you can rank shock from novice to F with seals, but definitely not worth). I would rather just get a RKA and sell it to buy the pages and still have money left over. Why would you run Fiodh or Rundal? Because you can get materials for weapons you might be looking for like radiant string for CRC, and enchants for your CRK (Nightmare and Black Fog). I agree with the fact that many places are really purpose for one or two items. So what do you propose then, to make them more relevant, at least to your standard? This game, when it was first created, was designed, as time went on, to have these elevating contents of each difficulty. The older contents are merely lower tier contents right now, where you won't be getting much, because well, it's "easy" content.
In general, the game still does have levels of varying difficulties that players of different experience/stats can interact with. Think elite missions are too easy? You have an option of soloing them, or go do Alban, abyss, lord. My only problem with the high tier contents is that I think there needs to be more variety. There is only three lord missions, and while I praise what they tried to do with convoy or Belvast rescue, would be nice to have more interactive higher level contents like the two mentioned. I'm personally a fan of Alban due to the rewards and the customization of difficulties available. As for lower tier contents, I'd think that offering lower tier enchants (like 6-8 max damage enchants that are low risk) would do a decent job for running as you can run those missions to get started on your gear making and be more efficient in battles while not having to worry about using high risk enchants yet.
