But that means they won't be able to use the item again unless you regive it to them, which also means rebinding the item. Do you want to waste NX unbinding and rebinding just to repair?

You really still haven't grasped the English language, yet, have you?

I think maybe it's you that hasn't.

O_O Holy crap. You're right. Let me quickly apologize to the person who has made countless of gramatical errors and displayed obvious lack of reading comprehension in the past. /s

So you can pay Laighlinne a Saturday salary like a Maid/Butler partner.
Kinda weird, since I didn't know she was so much working for us as just joining us on a journey.
But the extra disposition is nice enough.

Is there a point to raising her disposition besides gifts? So far she doesn't seem to have any actions or anything, which is kinda disappointing, and I doubt she harvests crops with you.

She might be like the Commerce Partner, as far as Actions go.
She might need 100 more disposition (compared to Maid/Butler) to unlock each action. (i.e. Salute = 0 for Maid/Butler, but 100 for Commerce Partner).
We'll see about the gathering thing, but I don't know why they'd make her not be able to.

What are you on about? I pay all my friends a salary. The both of you agree to be friends on a set term and wage.

Her vocal greetings seem to change with higher disposition though, today's the first time I heard her say
"Let's go where the wind takes us."
And when you pay her bonus, or whatever, she says something like
"So this is what having a job is like."
Spoiler stuff for people who would rather find it out themselves, heh.
Is it just me or does she have a lot less vocalizations than she's supposed to? I've barely heard 1/4th of these so far:

Dwelling on the past... You must really have something against me, don't you?

That hardly looked like an apology. More like a further stray towards off topic and speaking bad things about someone. How unfortunate... it's not good to harbor negative feelings.
welp, it was worth a shot. i guess that means we never really WERE friends, huh?

gramatical
And you called me out on English? Its "grammatical."

She costs the same as the maid/butler at their very first release, which is the price I bought those for. Laighlinne has more perks then they do, even if her bard skills aren't that great. So I don't feel like I was ripped off at all. She cost the same as my other partners did, is an NPC that I quite like, and has voice acting and her NPC profile on her partner. So I am very much enjoying my Laighlinne.
Also, now once I get her disposition up I can get my chairs repaired at a 98% rate rather than being forced to use the 93% Walter that is the only NPC that repairs chairs. For that reason alone she is better than all my other partners!
I buy partners for the high rate repairs wherever I need them, extra gathering (the more you have the less pissed off each one gets after gathering herbs all day), and the gifts that are most often dungeon or SM passes. I don't really care for their specific specialties, aside from what the commerce partner can do.
So I am not disappointed in my purchase at all! I am quite infatuated with my Merylsan. :blood:
