Believe it or not putting real money into pixels and pixel money isn't really a good investment anyway.
With that mindset, basically everything in the game is a terrible investment for you. You could say the same thing about LoL legendary skins (especially Pulsefire Ezreal) that literally don't do anything in-game besides change their appearances and few characteristics. And then you know, there's CS:GO, DOTA, Smite, etc.
And with the statement also comes the discussion of gears, because let's face it, reforging, you will have to pay with real life money for some reforges, even when you do have a good way of getting lots of gold, and according to your logic, this would still be pouring money for pixels, which would apparently be a shitty investment. But hey, this is still worth for many of the players.
You already hit the milestone of the debate when you said the above, because no matter how you look at it, as Laighlinne is real money spent, just like other partners, regardless of the other positives Laighlinne can give you compared to other partners, it's just gonna be a piece of shit to you. There's nothing to argue about then. We're not forcing you to buy Laighlinne or anything, you can hate on her all you want. And I can see why people think she might be a bad investment, and all I ask is that you see why anyone would want the partner. For me, I liked Samhain and Meryl was a bae, the potential rewards from the partner gifts, the ease of instrument repairs, and the clothing, and unlike your generalization that people who buy this are the ones who sit around in dunby and do nothing all day, it would be false because I would be busy finishing my alban totem, hunting for things I need, or hunting for $$. If others want to channel their inner otaku out get their waifus. I mean, I think shit like animal mouths, Kitsune ears, etc, are ugly and waste of money, but hey, I'm not the one using those. If people want to be weird, let them.
