The dungeon difficulty names remain the same as they were, though NA team deciding to change Advanced Hard mode into "Heroic" is not out of the possibility.

Not sure about Normal, but Basic and Intermediate have all been merged to Advanced Hardmode.
That's what it says on the website, but I'm not sure if that's actually true since I can't check it myself.

if they did merge basic, int, and adv hm dungeons, then wouldnt the drop pools and mob spawn pools be much larger? assuming, of course, they didnt remove a ton of drops, and didnt remove mobs or add new ones.
that could be both good and bad...because if one dungeon has 3 dungeons drop pools (plus the new stuff), you'd only have to run one dungeon for all the stuff, but on the other hand, the odds of something you want dropping could be lower due to the larger (or more numerous) drop pools.
of course, at the current rate we wont be gettin this update until fall or something....seeing as G20 came out almost half a year ago and hasnt even been announced yet, much less released for us to play. Hopefully with the Samhain event ending they'll start the prerelease event this week or next, but im not gonna hold my breath on that. It's been pushed back this much already, i wouldnt put it past them to put it off till spring

You would think that with them revamping dungeons that they would add hardmode for at least a few of the other dungeons. Rabbie or Fiodh hardmode sounds fun.

How would using a 1 Piercing Weapon (-6 Def, -5 Prot) and this 3 Piercing Robe (-20 Def, -15 Prot) add up?
Would they turn into 4 Piercing (-30 Def, -20 Prot) or just add up their respective def/prot ignores? (-26 Def, -20 Prot).
Actually the difference would be a rather unnoticeable 4 Def or something, so maybe it doesn't matter so much.

There's a lot of videos cropping up of dungeons after the update but here's one of Rundal Adv HM... I think. (Hard Higher?)
That's supposed to be one of the most difficult ones on that chart in the OP, isn't it?
That mob HP gets kind of obnoxious there at the end.
Seems like it'd be even more prudent to go in as a party than before.
If not for survivability, then just to split up all the dura costs.

Can't really faceroll Lycanthropes with FH/Bash spam with such high HP since they're bound to be able to get off a successful full heal... or ten.

I suspect that KR did an update on the test server. Their newest news posts suggest an 8 hour patch was done on the Test Server. I'm checking that out now and will update you guys if I Find anything new. Could be nothing, I'm finding a whole lot of nothing on their website suggesting anything. Heck that image that was posted that suggested the 28th wasn't found anywhere on their website so I can't even verify the accuracy of it.
Ya, I'm not seeing anything on the test server and with no news post on the KR Main website with any kind of patch notes or anything I'm going to conclude the 28th thing was never true to begin with.
No patch on live either. Well this was a dud.
On further inspection only suggestion of it was that gameabout article. I'll have Rixx see about translating that when they get time as I would like a more formal translation of that than some google translate garbage that's hard to rely on for accurate information.
My best guess is that something issues popped up internally that caused it to delay or the 28th was never real to begin with.

It feels strangely satisfying to watch that guy be unable to kill the boss with Yolo Hit. There should be more enemies vulnerable to select few skills instead of tanks with all passive defences maxed.

Though it does get annoying to see a skill that you spent effort training and AP ranking become totally useless with no warning.
Actually, we have seen certain enemies already who are immune to certain skills.
Stuff like Ice Spear's freezing effect. (even without lv2 Mana Deflector, like OA golems or the constellation animal bosses)
Or sometimes completely unaffected or untargetable by certain skills, like Frozen Blast or Shadow Bind.
I mean it's not the end of the world of course.
On the other hand, god damn that lycanthrope will take a lot of windmilling.
That alone is worth going in with a party.

Seems I jumped the gun on my assumption. I didn't pay close attention to the patch/maint times of KR, combined with not seeing their adverts in person and not reading the interview until this morning...I've jumped to all the wrong conclusions. KR is currently in Maint atm and we'll find out more info about the new dungeon difficulty in a few hours.

Gets 2 piercing from upgrades, can be special upgraded. OP much? Slap a 67th and the robe of destruction and you have a lv 9 pierce sword with.... that attack rate before upgrades?.... I hope it's a mistake in the item simulator. Though even if it's a mistake, that piercing is still nuts.
