  It's clearly stated in the Bible multiple times that homosexuality is a sin.
  If a Bishop claims that the Bible is wrong, how can we believe that the Bible is the Word of God?
  
  Personally, I believe that it's fine for people to be homosexal. However, I do not believe that it is something that should be said by someone in his position.

  That quote doesn't say homosexuality is a sin, just homosexual sex. So he's not actually claiming the Bible is wrong. Notice he doesn't explicitly condone any acts that would be considered homosexual, just the being homosexual itself.

  Now this might sound completely crazy, and bear with me here, but I don't think my life would suck ass if I singled my life without sex.
  
  Sexual abstinence is quite a common practice in many people. I'm not all for gay people but if you understand where they're coming from view points might change.
  
  People look at them as a diseased person. Just because I'm straight and I like women doesn't mean I'm going to hit every girl I see. There are also many men who disregard women in general until that "one girl" appears. Sexual preference is not dangerous nor is it a threat to society. Why do people feel threatened?
  
  Same concept with gay people. If they tell you they're gay, it doesn't mean they're after you. It just means they prefer people of the same gender or have one specific person of the same gender in mind. And its not contagious or anything, so I can't see why you can no longer associate with them.
  
  The final problem behind discrimination against gay people is that they don't CHOOSE to be gay. Its just how they are. To claim they should be put to death because of their natural desires written by the genetic make up made by God himself is the one final point that makes me truly believe the bible isn't the true word of God.

  I'm still a virgin but if your homosexual your not going to have sex with a woman, your going to have it with a man. Or the same gender of w.e you are. Therefore by accepting homosexuality you are basically accepting the sex part of it.

  Actually the bible never clearly states homosexuality as a sin. It only really says that lust is a sin, and that homosexuality merely consists of lust. So really it could be argued on both sides.

  But some rules in the old testament aren't followed at all either in most countries, like the one involving the stoning of non-believers of God, disobedient sons, and adultery. (And some others)
