Im your proof. So is Mama, and so is Glam. 3 "koreans" that have played past boat 5.
Its like you saying "Ive seen it happen on boat 2". When Ive also hit every single mob in boat 2 after critting several times.
Well... not exactly like it. Since... you know... "koreans".

Is simply stating that there is controversy and contrasting opinions on ranking Physical Critical Hit in your guide, and encouraging newbies to research the issue and make their own decision, is it that much of a problem for you?

well, he already said he had no intention of changing it. I doubt this will change until we get boat 7 for ourselves.

But what then?
Tasha, I think you'll look back on this topic and find yourself to have been overly stubborn about a simple matter.
Not only would it appease people, but it would make your guide a better one if you would simply mention the pros of critical hit, strongly recommend not ranking it at all because of the cons, then leave it up to the player.

The funny part is, the cons are whats being discussed atm. At first, I didnt even know of it, read one KR players opinion, found it interesting, and went off to test it for myself.
Havent run into any problems yet. -w- Same as many other people. Maybe Im not hitting the mobs at some insane, secret angle that would make them fly before the second hit connected? Even if I did, Id have to find a mob that doesnt die in the resulting Thread snap. >:
Rofl.

I think the reason why Tasha decide not to change it is because until we have a lot more proof of this, or Tasha want to test it herself/himself
If we put a strongly NOT recommended skill in a "Guide"; I think people would still rank it,
( hence some Evies had actually wear Laghodessa set and the Damage factor actually out rank the pros of Survivability)
Not to mention Fashion factor too.
Beside, as Tasha mentioned before, you can always rank Critical Hit afterward, but you can not so an "AP reset"

Youre lacking the proof that it happens in the first place.
Proof is NOT a word you want to use. It would also help if you people read my posts.

Of physical critting making the magic portion miss? I can back that up, I miss my Invisible Loom time to time because of that, though other players don't seem to be too affected by this (some not noticing it at all).

I can also make a video of the physical crit not affecting anything, on any mob you want. Not that I think youre lying, or have fallen to the Crit Hit hate bandwagon...

i think theyd want the video done on late boat mobs for whatever reason, so ud need the vpn again.
neway, the opinions of those who have used critical hit on their scythe successfully dont apply here. <:
this ain't a democracy, folks.

Both points are valid, however any knowledge is under the falsation principle, meaning it just need to be proven that it misses (once) to conclude that the opposite is not the rule (never missing).
I agree with all the people claiming to let that choice to the player... i mean, afterall we are not brainless machines that google a guide and follow it to the letter... i like to compare guides, and if theres only one available, then i need to do more research before doing anything.
I would have to give Tasha a point too for his argument about being safer not to invest now: "You can always put ap into a skill, but you cant take ap out", though i probably add:
"Its safer not to invest now if your not sure what to do with the information you have"
Note: My quote isnt a quote really, its just an abstract of what i think its Tashas point of view, please Tasha correct me if im wrong.

yesh
but you're overestimating the average gamer, who will and does hail anything on a guide as
flawless logic. informational bias is extremely potent here. the evidence would be the threads i see made on nexon forums, altho no ones ever ever
ever made a thread about how critical is ruining their gameplay, but rather freaking out about if they should start over because x said y and z said to
never do it.
however, the difficulty of later boats which NA has not yet experienced is keeping any opinion of a NA user here from moving from the spot theyve cemented themselves in.

I got a another question but i think i'll be stupid for me to not know.
Is 2ndary weapon skill worth getting and lvling (if u can lvl it, i didn't do the quest yet, still lv 30)
also is there a limit on how much skills u can have?
-
silversun wrote on 2011-01-01 02:01
On the second question, no. You get infinite AP too, so there's no limit on ranking either.
-
Riyuko wrote on 2011-01-01 03:14
i also got some add on questions as well
in the guides ur missing some of the skills like sp: blind arrow, mercury trap, health and defense masterys. unless those are staff skills, are they worth getting?
