Reverse Sexual Harassment

  While I acknowledge that male->female sexual harassment is a rather serious issue in society, let us put it all aside to discuss something that tends to get ignored often.
  
  Female->Male sexual harassment.
  
  Now there is a vast difference between being a total socialist dickbag and exercising equality with a touch of chivalry. A man's build is usually more naturally suited for heavier movements, it would be a display of good manner for a man who is more fit to aid a woman in laborious tasks.
  
  Seems in society, it is completely acceptable for a girl to hit a guy. Whether it be pushing, smacking, slapping, punching, kicking, or whatever, no one will really say anything. The opposite is a completely unacceptable behavior, and can result in battery charges instantly. This is rather stupid. Its not even about a matter of strength at this point. Girls can strike men and make it hurt. As long as its not a serious physical injury these cases are often completely ignored. A man can scratch a girl and the whole world will frown on him.
  
  This scenario is only excluded in military combat. No matter what the reason, if it is not for the purpose of self defense, you must NEVER strike a lady.
  
  Fair enough, I'm not someone who would hurt another unless it was for self defense anyways. But is it wrong to ask that they not hit us back too?
  
  Another case of reverse sexual harassment is when I am assigned a role purely due to the fact that I am male. This is just annoying. I'm a creative person, whose skills and interests just work better with my hands. Whether it be writing, organizing, cooking, cleaning, whatever. Instead I'm told to go mow the lawn or fix the roof.
  
  I'm sorry, but I'm horrified of heights. But because I'm a male, I can "suck it up" and go on the roof. Here I will commence trembling and discomfort that will only make work inefficient.
  
  No one ever tells a girl who has acrophobia to "suck it up". They exempt them from the work the moment they mention it.
  
  Mowing the lawn is not a horrendously difficult task. I don't know why its considered a man's job. Any woman can do it just as well and without any more difficulty than a man can.
  
  Whats up with reverse rape? It happens all the time but it often goes ignored even when a man tries to turn it into a case. Its surprising really.
  
  So whats your view on the topic?

  Gender roles are a bit looser nowadays, but I agree that you can't judge someone by their gender.

  Gender equality involves men and women being treated as equal except for the cases where it actually benefits the woman. It will take a long time to change gender roles if it does change. Life is unfair.

  Heh, equal rights, It's funny at times too, like how a boy playfully punches a girl in the arm and the girl gets to make a huge deal out of it and is entitled a punch or two back at the male. I'm not against equal rights, but sometimes it gets annoying as a defense.   It would probably wouldn't be very politically correct to host a mens rights campaign but it should happen soon before America (not sure about other countries) digs itself deeper into it's own overbearing sense of equality.
  Domestic violence is always an issue no matter how strong the offender is as a five foot tall woman can easily break a few bones pushing a six foot tall man down the stairs.
  
  While society is the one that starts these stereotypes, it falls on the individual to shape the people around him.
  
  Some men who are beaten by their wives refuse to confront or seek help because they feel it's weak and emasculating.
  Instead they just laugh it off, after they were kicked in the crotch and end up on the floor in fetal position.
  ^Happens way too often. I saw a guy who was on the floor every day from this.
  
  The legal parts will be really tricky issues in future dealings.
  Child custody and fees always tilt in favor of the mother.

  I don't see rape ever becoming a large issue though, it's a firm belief that no guy would be forced.
  Unless pregnancy is involved I never hear it on the news.
  
  
  But eh, I don't speak from my own experiences but from those of my friends who try hard to have a strong manly image.
  They're the ones who get kicked by girls, rejected from study groups, and just play poker with other guys at lunch.
  I never cared about my man image, everyone knows I'm scared of zombies, heights, and most insects and that I will never go with them to watch horror movies.
  But I'm the one who gets to eat homemade brownies, actually receive xmas/bday gifts, and talk about life with girl friends :|
  Don't see the point in ostracizing yourself from the other gender.

  It's not "reverse racist" for black people to be racist against white people, it's just plain racist.
  It's not "reverse sexual harassment" for women to harass guys, it's just sexual harassment.

  Yeah, it's sexual harassment, not really reversed anything, just female -> male.
  
  I personally would punch anyone who offends me physically, well... if the person was going all-out, of course. I wouldn't attack a woman in self-defense until I've repeatedly told her to stop and it doesn't work. But then again, it'd be the same for anyone else, personally.
  
  It's difficult, especially with some girls in schools that love to pick on boys sometimes.

  Reverse Sexual Harassment or Reverse Rape is the legitimate lingo for female to male cases.
  
  Look it up.
  
  Technically it doesn't need to "reverse" in there to be female to male, but for the sake of specifying on those cases, people just say reverse.
  
  Unless you have a better word for it, then by all means go spread it around and make it the primary term.

  btw i think the major case is double standards, because this is a world where men are always perverts, never can be raped, always wanting sex, are always the forceful ones, and looked down upon when losing to a woman.
  
  While on the other hand women demand equal rights, but want to be so far separated when the situation gives them the advantage...I'm not being mean to anyone but this is just how it goes. However there is no one with power enough to actually fix this. Men are too proud to openly express this and women, women tend to enjoy their current position too much to lower themselves down.
  
  Like i said before this isn't to be mean, just what i have seen all my life.

  Hey, I'm just saying, it doesn't matter what it sounds like or what the true definition of the english words "reverse sexual harassment" is.
  
  When specifically speaking of scenarios where females harass males, the proper lingo is reverse sexual harassment.
  
  And men CAN be raped. Not sure why people don't seem to think so.
