The goal of this bill is to "prevent minors for reading negatively influential works that lead to crime and sex" but thats mostly a cover. The man responsible for this damage is one of the most evil governors beings in Japan. He hates foreigners, he's racist, and hates the anime/manga industry with a passion. He's not afraid to voice it too.
What a dick.
Some crazy otaku is bound to kill him.

Something like uhh...
....Yotsuba.
Azumanga Daioh would've made it but they had underage alcohol in a summer trip.

I can't even name one. Even Doraemon has assault and theft. Shugo Chara has the uniform thingy, so expect later episodes to have like glow in the dark, purple uniforms.
Edit: Kimi ni Todoke would be safe, I think. The rest of the shoujo section, however, wouldn't because they always have some sex related parts to it.

Cardcaptor Sakura. Breaking and entering.
xxxHolic. Underage drinking.
Tsubasa Chronicles. Murder.

We have our own freedom of speech based war right now. Wikileaks.

Wait what is this?
This bans any anime/manga that has things that might break the law in it?

Crimes based on Japanese law are not allowed as content of any commercial print work in manga. So for example, something like Code Geass, Black Lagoon, or Death Note is instantly out of the question. They're going to take it off print.
I guess... Things that aren't commercial (eg. Doujinshis) are fine apparently.

There's also incest and pedophilia, among other things, but I don't know how that is in Japan.. 8D

This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard of this month. Why not just ban all movies that break laws too? Kids see those as well. And how about books?
