The Fomor

  You would be suprised at how many people get confused at this, What exactly IS a fomor?
  What are thier abilities? Thier Culture?

  Please do not confuse the Fomorian race with Goblins, Kolbold, Ogre, imps, wolves, or even Trolls these are not fomor but differen't races and species. The Fomorian is a humanoid race simular to the Tuatha Dé Danann, and the Parthalon. However, although the fomor are simular they have many differnces in apperance. The fomor's skin color is Brown or Grey in color, also a few male fomor have the ability to grow horns (for example Balor/Inkeles of the evil eye)
  Fomorian also vairy in size, some fomorian are humanoid sized(mainly female) while others tower over humans and are the size of giants.
  Fomorian eyes have no Pupil and are usually one solid color.
  
  Abilities
  Fomorian have thier own language appart from the language of the Tuatha De Danann, some examples of the Fomorian Language could be:
  Mem Tsadi
  Ararita Gimel
  Dalet Hokhma
  Atah Agla
  Atah Dairam
  Mem Dairam
  Samek Dairam

  Fomor have amazing strength, and excel in Necromancy and Alchemy. It is a fact that fomor do not need to use an alchemy cylinder to use alchemy. Alchemy was taught first to 3 humans (3 of the four vates) by the 4th vate who was a fomorian.
  
  Fomorian wizards have the ability to control animals/ and other humanoid races using the power of scroll.
  
  Culture
  Fomorian are amazing Arcutechs this is apparent due to the amazing design of Tara's underground waterway which was designed and built by fomorians.
  
  Fomor's have no second thoughts about using Necromancy as well (something that is forbidden to use by the Tuatha Dé Danann) and will sometimes use Necromancy on thier fallen comrads when at war.

  unless what happens to the structures of one world influence another but then that would mean that they could destroy TNN structures by destroying the shadow version

  i always thought it worked like this, similar to twilight beasts in loz: twilight princess, where the formors we see in erinn are simply projections from the formor world.

  I would think what happened was in the beginning there were two worlds made to balance each other out, our world, and the shadow realm. Tuatha de Danaan populated our world, fomors in the shadow realm, and it seems fomors aren't very good housekeepers due to their realm going down in the dumps in some areas.

  No the war between Tuatha de danaan and Fomor during Vindictus caused the fomor's world to become destroyed.

  They're probably counted as Fomors because they sided with them.
  They don't have to be controlled to join the forces against humans :V (Gnolls siding with Fomors Vindictus)
  
  Chances are they eat humans anyway if they naturally side.

  That couldn't be true, as the shadow realm is a recent creation, devised by the now-undead former (note, that's former as in previous, not former as in typo for fomor) prince of the Partholonians. The shadow realm's origins lie with him, and he has no desire to ally himself with the fomors for obvious reasons.
  
  Edit: Succubi are definitely fomors, not by anything canonical to the Mabinogi lore itself, but by the fact that Kristell refers to herself as being a fomor when she was still a succubus. I like Sinned's theory on it though, which would make it that the term Fomor refers to an alliance as well as its race in the same way that we have Tuatha de Denaans and Milletians so that Fomor (as far as the game is concerned) is not just a name for humanoid creatures that go bump in the night.

  What you just said has nothing to do with what I said. The fomors are investigating shadow realm, yes, but the post I was referring to implies that the fomors are of the shadow realm. That's like saying we humans are of the shadow realm because you see humans in it every so often. The origins of the realm itself are Parthalonian, and the existence of the realm itself is only as recent as G9.
