This game (as you've noticed) has been slowly becoming more Pay2Win.
I just failed 11 times going from +9 to +10. 40% chance my ass. The RNG isn't random and this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me and to other people and not just for enhancing. Every aspect of luck in this game is revolved around an NX item. And the more "unlucky" they make the game, the more money they get from these NX items. Which wouldn't be as bad if the money was actually going towards something. But, here we are, still having to log in several times and not knowing what attack the boss is going because of server lag.
This is my last Nexon game. And the only reason I'm seeing this one through to the end is I have a lot of time, money, and energy invested in it.
This is just completely ridiculous.
From a post below:
It's not just the RNG. Check the Nexon forums and see how many complaint threads there are. 90% of all topics there are people disgusted with an aspect of the game or Nexon as a company. Hell, I still have a support ticket from 6 months ago when I bought NX and never received it.
Don't think I'm just rage quitting because an enhance didn't go my way. I really don't care about that. I've broken more weapons than I care to admit; but when it gets to the point where the only way of having any success in the game is to be extremely lucky or spend LOTS of money and when there's no aspect of skill or commitment (that's what an MMO is SUPPOSED to be about) the game has gone into a downfall of a money-hungry director. And I feel ashamed to having taken part in that.

Wouldn't this be devcat's fault?

DEVcat is just a branch of nexon. so technically its still nexon.

Just means you hit a .6% chance, which is bound to happen to 1 in 165 people.
Bad luck, certainly, but it's not so unlikely that people can expect to never see it.

I'm pretty sure Nexon is like, the big brother that brought/bought devcat into being under their wing.
They're pretty much separate though, besides, you can't blame Nexon nor Devcat for an RNG people are mad at because it doesn't go their way.

Putting this in the OP because it further elaborates my point.

[S]Should totally add tokens back and reduce the price of other nexon items[/S]
Wow, that sucks, and they don't seem to be making any anti measures with the chat spammers either. Well, they don't HAVE to, but they should.

No offense, but unless you're willing to pay money for Nexon to keep up their servers, they're allowed to do what they want. This game is free to play, and by buying from the cash shop, you're providing them with the money required for them to continue to run their servers, and pay their employees, and create new games.
You can get into the whole "well nexon has maplestory and can keep up their servers with that argument", but the truth is is that every month there's no one asking you for more money to play that game, no subscription required. What money you sink into it is your choice. You buy under the assumption that it may not still work. If it doesn't oh well, you know the chances (maybe not before, but now) and you always had the ability to find them before hand.
Anyway, like I said its not required of you to spend the money, so you don't have to. If you wanna be good and you're willing to spend the money, do it. But no one told you to.

meaning its just a branch of nexon, thank you for restating what i said.
on-topic: a guildy of mine has gotten a +15 weapon using no runes, he blew up who knows how many weapons getting it. took forever and cost lots of in-game money. then he blew it up with an enchant . he is currently remaking.

Soon it will be practically required to spend NX in one form or another to continue playing. That's episode 9 for you.

Thanks for proving my point.
Well, sort of. I know that Nexon needs to make money and that's not what I'm arguing here.
For one, Nexon makes A LOT of money. They aren't short on cash by any means.
I know that I chose to spend money, and I will gladly support the game IF I know my money both A) goes to something good and B) I get my money's worth. And either of those aren't exactly fluid in this game.

Why would he risk an r9 scroll on the rarest thing in the game??? Especially since scroll runes come out next update, and then the next update after that +15 weapons become the elite force of the universe.
