User Ignore upgraded

  Hopefully this will help reduce some problems of users who don't like each other insulting each other in threads.
  
  First, for anyone who doesn't know, there's an ignore list which you can add/remove users from found in your control panel:

  Anyone you have a general dislike of on the forum you can add to this list, this feature has always been there and is severely underused based on what we're seeing going on in some threads.
  
  
  And now for the upgrade I made to it, you can choose to use the classic ignore method that just shows you that the user made a post in a thread with the option to view the post, or you can select the Advanced option which will completely hide the post, leaving you completely unaware that there ever was one (with the exception of when people quote the post, nothing can be done about that).
  
  To use this option go to your control panel's general settings and scroll down to the "Ignore Mode" option and select your preference. The default is normal.

  So hopefully people will be responsible/mature enough to use this feature if they plain old don't like someone and know that they might start fights.

  Same thing that happens to the names on their posts, it automatically changes. In other words, it'll keep working.

  It'd be nice if we could perhaps ignore posts from mods but not perhaps their PM's? That way anyone who is insulted by a mod can at least pretend that they weren't insulted, and then that would still leave a way for the mods to communicate with the person who ignored them. Although there's so many mods I can hardly picture anyone wanting to ignore more than a few of them.

  I hope you know that you aren't really preaching to the choir here...
  
  Mods still do public warnings, post threads with rule changes, etc. What you are suggesting would make communicating with members more difficult. Mods are enforcers and even if you like some more than others, they are still enforcers. It's not like you would get away with ignoring a police officer just because you dislike him.

  That functionality is excluded for a reason, it's like ignoring the police.
  If you have issues with a staff member you can bring it up with an admin though.
