  Im told i am distracted very easily and often wont notice things going on around me, but i seriously dont think that its possible to just walk right by something like that. Theres no way those people walking by didnt see that guy, and that driver knew fully well he ran someone over, and then he just went on.
  
  Is it that bad over in china? All those people were acting like its NORMAL for people to get ran over and just lay there. If the media doesnt often report it because of the strict control the goverment has over it in china, then this could be a common occurance there and many people haven't known. I really hope im wrong though. This just has to be another rare event of Genovese syndrome or whatever its supposed to be called, the one where bystanders wont help because there are others around and they think someone else will take care of it. Right?

  just something that all developing countries to go through.
  You can't have morals/ethics if the country cannot afford it.
  
  I'm sure korea and other developed countries went through this type of lack of humanity in the past.
  As for USA, look at industrial revolution. Many children forced to work and beaten if they didn't work hard enough. forced to sleep on the cold, hard floor.
