  In the end, they said they discontinued Ao Shin's development since they didn't like the design path that was going for him. They might not pick him up until next year or something. Next champion's likely going to be that leaked Watcher/Beholder/Mind Flayer Void Champion or another support since they "promised" the community one early in 2014.

  No, there was an interview recently with a riot member and they said Ao Shin wont be released until 2015. Not 100% sure why they'd tease a champ like that 1.5 years early.

  holy fuck, i had to really channel my inner doublelift.
  
  we had all 3 inhibs down against us at one point, this was a clutch game, it ended with them baiting baron, me hyper carrying the fight then taking 4 turrets and an inhib then finishing

  Played my first ever Ranked game, I was pretty nervous...

  Lee gave away first blood which made me even more nervous, but he and Kat came top twice and got me two double kills (Malph and Panth x2) and a tower, Jinx was having a hard time (lag apparently) but came back as a great splitpusher, Soraka's heals and Wishes were also nicely timed.
  
  Overall, despite the hectic start, this first game turned out great~
  That could have been a stomp though, I don't understand their team composition at all...
  
  
  Hoping for at least 4 more wins.

  yesterday I dono what happened, I think I fell into a vortex of just bad teammates vs super strong opponents, lost 5 games straight even though I did my job :/

  League of dorans shield is finally going away, and with it hopefully the annoying toplane meta that is currently dominant, toplane in the lcs has gotten so boring

  Alright Splatty, I'm gonna try to give you a quick rundown. LoL is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena).
  
  You play matches that range from 20 minutes - 1 hour (very rarely it will be a little higher or lower). Each time you pick a character to play as; there are something like 120 available, but you don't get them all unlocked for a while. At the beginning of the match you start at level 1, you can get up to level 18 by the end of the match. You kill enemies characters and enemy minions to get gold, which you spend on items to kill them faster. The map has 3 lanes, each with 3 towers. you have to kill the first tower to kill the second, the second to kill the third. Once you kill the third tower in a lane, you kill the inhibitor, which will spawn "super minions" for your team (the inhibitors are placed where the small boxes are in the picture). After that there are 2 more towers and finally the Nexus (the big box). The ultimate goal of the game is to kill the Nexus.
  
  That's the super extreme basics, there's a ton of strategy involved that you learn along the way.

  It's RTS only with most of the difficult parts cut out.
