I guess I just don't think it's so drastic a change. I suspect most people won't even notice the difference.
It's as spammable as any other range skill seeing as how they all have load times and aiming times. The MP cost per cast is only 15 which means you can't just spam mass AoE damage without drawing aggro from 100 yards away -all- the time...unless you have one or two potions. Someone who actually used it stated that it disturbs aggro even if the monster had already targeted you. I don't know of any videos where the target survives and I'm not feeling too pressured to look since the truth will come out soon enough.
I'd hate to have any skills not available (that could be helpful in future generations blah blah blah) just because of a stupid class thing. Also, there is literally no class that I'd feel comfortable in (with the skills screwover). Staying as an adventurer is really no excuse.
And spammable as any other ranged skill? Sorry but, are you kidding? x_x Yeah they all have load and aim times, rofl? It's like saying "Smash and windmill both have load times, so they're both the same."
"Only" 15. It's hardly only. Magnum would actually be fit for wayy more situations. Also, it takes 230 AP to get to the 2 second load time, and anything below rA is 3 seconds. 3 seconds of load time + actual aiming time + possible aggro (even if the shot itself doesn't draw aggro, there's no guarantee that monsters won't aggro just because you're standing there) which would mean a -% from aiming if they're walking or running.... imo, not a spammable skill
at all. If someone were to get aggro'd using this skill they'd be dead trying to hit the monster with it.
Also, for someone like me who doesn't rb weekly and is also a lazy bastard, 490 AP is a ridiculous amount to try and get, especially just to rank one skill to 1.

But they're not changing anything that was pre g13 as far as adventurers go. They're just adding, not taking anything away.
Not changing anything, sure, but only if you wanted to stay in pre-G13 content forever.
Yes they're adding, but being an adventurer would very likely take away from future content.
Sure. They're not taking anything away except advantages in every generation past 13.
If this comes up:
"Well, there's no telling whether adventurer's will really have disadvantages."
Well, the other classes are getting buffed, and I'm especially jealous of all the stuff meleers are getting (especially if they haven't gone into magic or alchemy or range or any of that).
If this gets implemented, I'm sure that there'll be class-exclusive content (why would they implement it if they didn't want people to mob to the classes?), and adventurers will become less and less able to keep up.
