G13 Class System

  Yes, it's an option, but it's the only exclusive skill bards get.
  Other classes get masteries and more useful skills.
  
  Musical weapons are probably melee, since any other attack with it would be ranged (as in from a distance, not with arrows) magic based. Eg, bard of fury.
  Melee = useless to many elves with their crap str, and probably useless to a lot of bards because of the str failure.

  I play a giant mage, even more restricted. And being a giant was an option, but thats a whole different argument XD
  
  And handling a human, elf, and giant char is easier and more practical then juggling classes with skill locks. Especially after ranking certain skills up.

  Bard won't be a popular class, and it's basically the only class for pure archers.
  
  
  I hate the stay an adventurer argument, it's everywhere.
  
  Devcat will definitely try to make people go into classes, otherwise, there's no point. It's a big update, they'll want attention for it, and results.
  Classes = more advantages = more people in classes.
  Adventurers = falls behind = less people there.

  My sister is kinda like that actually. She does try to help fight monsters with her range skills since she's an elf, but the moment someone gets even slightly damaged, she starts running towards them and healing them.

  Also, adventurers can use leap attack as well as bard of ballad so don't say they're locked to pre-g13.

  Fyi, I also use intermediate magic, and it takes a bucketload of time for me to rank anything since I also get distracted by other skills I need. I'm only picking on crash shot because people are using it as a possible pro in the pro/con discussion. Crash shot doesn't strike me as a particularly valuable addition to the game.

  Lure of the ballad: Sure, I'll be your aggro sponge. Any day.
  
  Sounds like it's only for lulz and deflecting attention from others, and only after a bit of time for the music to take place. Maybe it'd be useful if elves could hide after using it, but I'm not sure about that point.

  Personally, I think this system is epic awesome. I was a little PO'd about not being able to use my alchemy to back up my mage, but then i realized i could go back to having what i wanted. When I started the game around g2, I wanted to be a mage. I ranked up some skills to rank 1. Like Thunder and the 3 Bolts. I ranked alchemy as a back up for when i run outve mana. When (This better get implemented) i choose wizard specialization, I won't need alchemy for back up. Wizard gives more damage and higher mana pool. So for the same amount of mp. I am doing more damage. So with this update i will be using less mp total and i get my epic mana pool/int, masteries, and hailstorm.

  Melee also got fairly better so don't complain either.
  
  Range has been overpowered in its own way. Y'all have the ability to stunlock monsters and fire gazzilions of arrows in a minute. Range is the best in PvP. During dungeons, if y'all would bother to read the in game books, You would see Range was never meant to be a standalone, solo person skill. Range is suppose to be used as backup.
  
  If y'all dont like it then go adventurer. You want how it is now plus the g13+ skills/equipment. That is extremely overpowered. you can't have your cake and eat it to.
  
  Mabinogi is a MMORPG. If y'all don't know, MM mean Massive MULTIPLAYER. The class system is meant to increase party play and make you feel special. How would you feel is someone specifically asked you to join there peaca int run because you were a wizard, bard, knight, whatever. You would feel good. Class system will add a whole new dynamic to the game. A whole new way or getting parties to do hard dungeons. So i am really hoping this gets implemented. I have much more to add but I'm to lazy right now and must go to a concert. ^ Thats should some it up though.

  We were discussing how bards didn't have a proper skill or masteries for their class. Then someone mentioned how crash shot was easily spammable, and we argued against it. We didn't say anything about needing another spammable attack, we were discussing it's practicality.

  Same could be said for you. Don't randomly call people spoiled. Are we not allowed to discuss what we want in a game on a game forum on the internet? In case you haven't noticed, there are others who don't want the class system as well.

  And how would you feel if someone said you couldn't go on the peaca run because you were a useless bard/mage? It's just like maplestory PQs, everyone wants the bandits, assassins, and clerics (for the earlier PQs, at least), and everyone else is labeled by level.

  Also, NO ONE wants to play the support role. It's awful. You have to depend on others for experience and levels, you have to depend on others for damage and ultimately, you're pretty much useless. You have nothing to show for it. Lure of Ballad is an awful skill and is completely useless when playing solo.
  
  Of course people will tell you to party up. Pretty sure that Knights, Wizards and Alchemists don't have to party up. They mention Arrow Revolver and Magnum Spam. Yeah, that's all archers can do. They say that it's all we need to be able to do. We kill ourselves out of boredom.

  Being a bard, which is essentially the same as adventurer minus tons of skills, plus a bit of range damage, with no masteries, just for lure of the ballad to be support?

  I'm an elf. I have to do range because I can't very well start melee now and magic tires me.
  Yes, 19 for 301 AP.

  1. You can use melee attacks during windguard.
  2. No one uses healing in combat outside of windheal. The ones who actually use party healing aren't doing themselves any favors.
  3. Ice Spear deals raw damage
  4. Bolts deal raw damage
