Since everyone has been discussing the class system coming out with G13..... gotta join the bandwagon:thumb:
What's your opinion on this system? Just discuss your opinions, leave the facts to the other threads.
I have read all the posts in the G13 class threads so I'm well aware of the pros and cons to this system, but I feel that adding this just makes Mabi more cliche. Yes you can stay an adventurer but now your missing out on skills, clothes, armor, hell even HAILSTORM! D: I'd feel better if they allowed Adventurers to indulge in the G13 skills but leaving it class locked is ridiculous. I'm not too fond of having to block off the skills I've wasted time and possibly money on to rank. (1 week rebirths). Yes I can choose every week or 3 weeks what class I wanna play but it would also severely limit my original gameplay. Then you can almost guarantee that most future updates pro G13 will end up singling out the classes and not really Adventurer. The only pro's to this is that hybridization is gone, forcing players to party play. Problem here though is not everyone knows how to party play well. We've all had our experiences with those who don't so you can see this problem. I can bet that most of you dungeon with the same people due to knowing how well you can party play with them.
Just my 2 cents :l

If they do it right its fine. The fact that they make certain skills we all ranked NULL if we choose a class changes the game altogether.

It needs a fine tunning, I would say let everyone use the skills.
But that's just plain greedy old me. -looks at earht alchemy mastery-

I think Mabinogi should stay classless, so everyone can have all skills if they desires to.
I don't get why they also released the Classes system this late, too.

I'm pretty sure the classes are optional. Everyone can stay as an adventurer if they wanted to

Oh god, not that excuse again...
I want to have Hailstorm, Ice Magic Mastery, and Alchemy Transmute Mastery all at same time, but you cannot get any of G13's skills and masteries if you choose to be Adventurer, tho.. e.e

Yeah. I'm also sick of the adventurer excuse.
I don't want those limits, and likely nerfs coming in the future if this update stays.

I think people are overreacting to it. I also think it's a welcome alternative to being hybrid everything and makes being actually good at something come more quickly. It also allows people to be effective pursuing single paths if they desire without killing hybrids. Of course, it'll get it's tweaks, but the concept is one I've been waiting to see.
