Oh hey! I didn't notice this guide! You did an awesome job explaining it. If you want details on the journal there is a list on the

Thanks a lot! And will do when I get to it. :)

So it's sort of like a Dan ranking (but not really) for alchemists.
You could definitely describe it that way. However, there's more perks to being a Royal Alchemist than having a Dan.

Hey, quick question. When you say Royal Alchemists can help with solo quests, is it just limited to mainstream finals or can they help in regular solo mainstream Shadow Missions?

Thanks for the Guide :o I want to attempt to become one. Sadly i might not get it on my first few tries, due to my lower alchemy ranks, none being at 1. However that will soon change when i can derank stuff and rebirth more :D

Royal Alchemists can definitely help with solo mainstream Shadow Missions as well, not just finals.
Check out the wiki for information like this.
Scroll down to where it says,
Shadow Mission Assistance.
This will point out which missions you can bring a Royal Alchemist and which you cannot.
You can't bring one in every solo mission btw. Some you must complete by yourself.

Best of luck! I definitely want to become one as well and help others, but it might get a little competitive with all those other high-ranked Alchemists on the servers.
Let's try our best!

Damnit this is the one time nexon fails me for releasing g11 to early: my alchemy skills are not at the ranks i want them to be so i will either not get in at all or if i'm lucky get in with some of my high ranked alchemy skills, wish me luck.

One thing I still have to add to this guide is the Journal Achievements feature that also comes out with G11.
We don't know what matters most, be it alchemy ranks or achievements, but both do indeed matter when it comes to being selected as Royal Alchemist. :)
So try to get all the achievement points you can!
I have to edit that ASAP into this guide. I just haven't been able to find the time to do it.
Here's an excellent article on the wiki on journal achievements. It tells you all of them, so you can trace which ones you got and which ones you still need to do. Remember, the more achievements, the better.

Haha, no. Those are the GMs trying to look cool. :P
(Did you also notice one of their names was darkknightg3, lol?)
There are just two pieces to the Royal Alchemist outfit.

I never thought becoming one of these would be so simple...yet tough because there's over 9000 potential State- erm Royal Alchemists. (Too much FMA Kei!)

Haha, but there's a chance at it every week. :) Which makes it tons better too!
You should definitely try.

I hope that ranks play a larger role, or that having helped someone with g1 and g3 finals counts as completing it for giants and elves.

I seen Royal Alchemist giants/elves on the spot and yet they lose big three points right off that back what that mean for the humans with the low rank alchemy skills? They will either be a lower ranked Royal or rejected entirely and franky i don;t see many alchemist on my sever so i wouldn;t be surpised if elves/giants became one easily caise not all humans have their range/melee/magic capped.

I know burning the enchants off the suit is futile, but are you allowed to overwrite enchants on the Alch suit :O
