I hear there's some sort of edit at G12. Dunno what exactly changed yet, but yeah. Humans get the slight advantage at the end.
It's annoying.

Not neccisarily. I think people overestimate the amount of us who actually did g1 and g3. I skipped both so I lose 200 of those points. I son't know abobut your server but a ton of people on my server skipped.

Also, the hype will eventually die down since the position actually requires an effort on the player's part to get those Quest Points.
Or so I would think.

I can see a lot of people trying to apply for the first couple to a few weeks before the hype would die. Also, you'd need to be quite active per week to maintain your position.

So, say if you got the position, would you have to make the points+ to keep the position, or would you keep ranking your alchemy :V? Its hard to explain where im comming from, but yea.

You'd have to do both. :x

Though...I can imagine a Cowboy Hat working SO well with the whole Royal Alchemist ensemble. (Go sim it if you want to see for yourself!)

I think Eyepatchs would be cooler.

More edits.
-Added some more descriptions about the Royal Alchemist uniform. Cannot be dyed, enchants cannot be burned off and also, I assume it cannot be enchanted over. I need a confirm on the last one, however.
-Added one bit of information on discovering upgrades. Like I mentioned somewhere in this thread, the first person to discover a Cylinder upgrade is the one who gives the permanent name to the upgrade. Sorta like a Seal Stone.
-Added G11 Shadow Mission mainstream chart.
Anywho, lemme know if there's anything else I need to add or correct. We'll definitely find out more info tomorrow when the first round of Royal Alchemists get chosen.
Good luck everyone!

Okay so, if your a Royal Alchemist, and you upgrade a Cylinder with a special upgrade. Then you fall out of the standings, is there some restriction if the upgrades work only when your a Royal Alchemist?

The name the upgrade gets is just for bragging rights. Nothing more.
Just like when you to go Edern and get the
Blade Edge Sharpening upgrade, you'll go to Eabha in Taillteann and get the
(Insert Name Here)'s Weight Reduction 1 upgrade for your normal Cylinder.
No restrictions. It's just that you get to name the upgrade if you discover it.
If you discovered that upgrade I just mentioned, it would be named
Username's Weight Reduction 1.
Anyone can upgrade their Cylinders, not just Royal Alchemists.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. haha
Anyone can get Cylinder upgrades. They just need to be discovered first. Royal Alchemists do the discovering.
By that logic, you can't get any Cylinder upgrades as of yet (except for
Trigger Change at Eabha's). We'll start seeing the rest of the upgrades starting tomorrow, when the first batch of people get chosen.
