I know burning the enchants off the suit is futile, but are you allowed to overwrite enchants on the Alch suit :O
You are definitely allowed to. (99% sure.)

Interesting. Definitely using it for enchant bridging then...
Are we allowed to have 2 Royal Alch Suits? Or can you only purchase a new one when you lose the other one?
And does the 2nd purchased suit have the enchants also?

All Royal Alchemist suits have enchants on them. And you can purchase a new one when you lose the other.
Whether you can only purchase the suit while holding the position, I don't exactly know.
However, I would think you can have more than suit at once, if you buy the second. Yeah?
We'll find out on the 11th.

Never say never.
If you do want to get the position, follow up that guide I linked to on how to train Alchemy Mastery effectively.
YogurtIceCream did a fantastic job in compiling that information. :)
And thanks! Needs a little bit of work, however. But that'll come soon.

I have updated the second post of this guide.
I added an explanation of Journal achievements and two tables listing the mainstream Shadow Missions that allow for Royal Alchemist support. Only for G9 and G10, however, since G11's Shadow Mission names haven't been translated to English yet. I'll include them when we learn of the English names.

Thinking of enchant sets for a royal alchemist
Title: Royal Alchemist
Accx2: Transparent Water Drop
Royal Alchemist's Boots: (Fearless/Tilted) Flood (I'm assuming you can enchant over what's already there, if not, then guess we're stuck with hot)
gloves: Fearless Water Drop
Water Cylinder: Moist Water Drop (expensive but lets look over that)
Royal Alchemist's Suit: Moist Water Drop (assuming again that you can enchant over and also that you could buy a 2nd to use Scholar when needed)
If I did my math right that's +119 water damage @_@ and +12 crit, and that's before upgrades. :D

Haha, you're big on Alchemy too! You should go for it. :)
Imagine when the Tower Cylinder and Chain Cylinder come out in G12 too!
