Are those the only things affecting magic cast speed? Is there a formula I can use for some theorycrafting?
So with 500 MAtk and rank 1 Firebolt, you'd be doing:
(120+250)*1.15 (fire)*1.15(Bolt)*1.15(bolt master title)=2.8k non-crit firebolts.
Is that right?
That still seems a little less then we've actually seen in the actual update, and 4.2k ice spears are still pretty low =\
Old Formula. (Did I ever mention how much I really hate this formula?)
{ [ ( spell_damage * full_charge_multiplier ) + wand_bonus ] * charge_multiplier + ( damage_enchants * spell_constant ) } * ( 1 + magic_attack/100 + elemental_mastery_bonus + bolt_mastery_bonus + staff_elemental_level_bonus + hebona_set_bonus + rosemary_glove_bonus ) * ( 1 + normal_upgrade_bonus + title_bonus ) * ( 1 + special_upgrade_bonus ) * 1.1
Going to assume unupgraded Fire wand, 1000 int, no hebona, no rosemary, no staff, r1 firebolt, r1 bolt mastery, no damage enchants, no titles, and no magic attack enchants, bolt master title
{[ ( 120 * 1.3) + 5 ] * 6.5 + (0)}*(1+50/100 + .15 + .15 + 0 + 0 + 0) * (1 + 0 + .15) * (1 + 0) * 1.1
{[ (156) + 5 ] * 6.5}*(1+.5+.45)*1*1*1.1
{[161] * 6.5}*1.8*1.1
1047*1.95*1.1 = 2,041 Firebolt Damage (Rounded up)
New Formula
Skill Base + Magic Attack * Skill Bonus
120 + 200 * .5 = 220 * (1 + .15 + .15 + .15) * 6.5 = 2,074 Firebolt Damage (5 charges)
My assumption is that all the %'s are added together and then multiplied. If I did it the way you have it
It would be 220 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 6.5 = 2,175 Firebolt Damage.
So it will matter GREATLY in how those are factored in. That's the missing piece of the puzzle.
As for the speed casting thing. I forgot to factor Int, and r1 Magic Weapon Mastery into the speed cast increase. I don't know the exact formula.
