Explosive kunai has really horrible hitboxes. Couple that with large enemies that have larger attack ranges than their hitboxes and that means that your kunai will never work as intended against them. Even on slightly larger than normal hitboxes such as the ones from shadow warriors, if your kunai are right in front of you and they approach with an attack, chances are both parties will get hit at the same time. They really need to improve the range of the kunai hitboxes.
Early in my training, I've even seen bs like this happen.

Just to add onto explosive kunais, the past couple of days I tried to find interesting applications for them and I learned you can't dropkick a monster through all 5 and get a ton of extra damage (Never knew that knockback was a "teleport" and you flying back is just visual) and you can't Enthralling Performance/Aggro and get the mob to beeline you through 2 sets of kunais placed on top of each other because if it triggers two at once it gets knocked back. I tried a few other things too, but explosive kunais just aren't working how I want them to :(

I heard people can actually dodge fireball by using smokescreen. I think it gives you invincibility frames or something.

I'm hitting 20k Shuriken charges, and still could hit higher if I actually finish ninja, rank fighter skills and other will skills. Yet I still think it's underwhelming in terms of damage and utility, since magnum or smash would do more damage per time for me anyway. Kunai storm is overshadowed by other stronger AoEs, and shadow bind is usually overshadowed by lullaby because of longer freezing time. Sakura Abyss has amazing synergy with lullaby, but needs to have less cooldown for the skill to be more popular and actually give a reason for many players to use ninja alot like they use guns.
I have enough of a stat already, and I already think ninja is pretty bad, especially of its damage scaling and mediocre utility.

You also complain about anything without an elemental reforge basically. o3o
The idea of down talking a free to play game's mechanic that you pay for as a downside to a skillset just doesn't sit right with me.
Tell me you hit those same superior numbers when raw +percentages are taken out of the equation~ I know my lance hits harder but it's fucking boring too rofl. I've got more damage to get out of enchants and my own personal overture--r4 with masteries being r5 and r6, but rasenzan is around 16k for me without any special upgrading, and sakura abyss is 30k~75k damage every 5 minutes :U Pretty sure peak damage on kunai storm is about 9k too, which my lance is only capable of with windmill, with the ice 4 it has.
All in all I could just reword it simply, the people who complain aren't stat-heavy enough to use it, or are too spoiled by their reforges* :P

Well this is the kind of thing that gets a lot of hate, and may actually be for the greater good in the long run, but the damage reforges associated with the talent are terrible and could really use some work.
Doesn't really stop me from maining it though. I can clear shadow missions faster than I can with my archery due to archer wind up time/potential missing. If anything, it's beautiful for that. Especially for sacrifice circles since shadow bind keeps the monsters locked in place post death.
I absolutely hate how the game handles multiple shadow binds though. It seems to default to whoever's bind has the shortest duration, if multiple people use it at the same time.

I coordinate better than that with the people I run things with, so I've never seen this problem xD but it sounds annoying o3o I thought I heard someone else say though a double bind locks something indefinitely? Or did they patch that really quickly? xD

The kunai storm damage reforge is also 1% per level or .5% per level or something. Can't complain about the range reforge though.

I don't know. Never bothered trying. If reforged shadow bind doesn't stun indefinitely (it doesn't if people feel the need to overwrite it .) then mob lag does

Well yeah we don't need it with mob lag already being a thing haha, but what they meant to imply was something couldn't move again after that, at all~
