This is exactly what I'm thinking, I might just bot the last ranks after I finish Sakura.
As it stands, theres no reason to rank it past 3.
I'd love to do it if I could bot it rofl -w- is that something autobot can accomplish or would you be making a macro yourself? This skill has made me wonder already about how simple or not it would be to make a macro for it.

And that's something I would not do rofl~ I want that 2 more will and last r1 for the sake of completion, but master titles aren't too important to me o3o I've mastered 4 of the 8 though because I like certain skills~ ..thinking about sakura master now too. That 15k per line is pretty nice rofl.

Just how much times do you have to use it at that rank anyway?

I find the skillsets fun in how it can not aggro or drops aggro very easily, even in the midst of battle with a decent cooldown.
Definitely will use it in situations where dropping aggro, or binding enemies will be great.
Shadow Bind in general is wonderful.
Though I wish we could do Last Breath after the whirlwind.
I GOT THE REFERENCE!

wow
wow
wow
did it REALLY take you people THIS long to get the reference
do you realize I go HASAGI after EVERY SINGLE WHIRLWIND
^_^
it literally looks exactly like Yasuo's whirlwind too, and I keep expecting it to hit things in a line.

So what is the reference to then. Someone mind clearing this up?

Yasuo's Ultimate Skill - Last Breath
After a knockup, usually his whirlwind which knocks enemies in the air, he'll teleport to the enemy and perform three swift strikes.

It's that move at 0:14-0:16 where he sends up a whirlwind, knocks up all the enemies, teleports to them in the air and demolishes them.

As a person who mained Gunner since its release,
A person who mains Gunner should fully understand how Shooting Rush causes knockback, the range of their Rush, and how to use their available resources in terms of follow up from a non lethal Shooting Rush. The closer the target is to your Shooting Rush, seems like it's likely they'll go directly backwards instead of diagonally. Also Shooting Rush does have a brief time slot before the mobs get up, that's a good moment to either deploy a wall of Explosive Kunai (Which apparently stuns even Adv Heavy Mobs for a good amount), wait a bit then throw a Midare Kunai at the most grouped mobs, or use Shadow Bind to prep a Reload. If necessary, there's always Shadow Cloak to drop aggro and reposition. Because Midari Kunai doesn't induce knockback unless the guage is full, you can use it to prep Bullet Storm or stall for another Shooting Rush. I to use Frenzy during a Shadow Bind too if I'm using my range enhanced guns, at R1 you can take quite a few potshots at a few things then exit the Shadow Bind with a Shooting Rush.
I may not choose the most efficient means of combat, but making combat styles work is always entertaining and rewarding if you ask me. Been relying on stats alone since G1 and I haven't had problems. With my severe lack of enchant and reforge enhanced damage, I kinda had to learn the system to survive.
On the point of your Gunner/Ninja choice. I'm also doing the same thing. Gunner is basically my go-to skillset for anything I deem somewhat challenging. Main as you may call it. I'm especially enjoying the AoE that you can do by switching between Shooting Rush and Kunai Storm. Kunai Storm > Shadow Bind > Shooting Rush Rinse and repeat. I'd tend to just shove a Gloomy Sunday on my back and use the instrument buffs to supplement my gunning, but now I think it's more interesting to be able to switch between Dual Gun and Ninja skillsets. Each one can supplement the other in some sense. There's plenty of ways for you to escape sticky situations. Shooting Rush can be used as such, just remember that you will still take damage but you won't be stunned or knocked back during the animation. It goes a decent distance if you're trying to get to an enemy who might be a bit out of your range or even trying to do the opposite. Shadow Cloak is self-explanatory. All-together I'm enjoying the things you can do by intertwining it with other skill sets.
And about the whole 'efficiencynogi" issue people seem to be crying about most of the time. At this point in the game, assuming you have decent stats, you can do well on your own using anything. We've gotten a buttload of additional stats that never existed before while mobs, in general, have stayed the same. I could use any of the existing skill sets available and be able to clear Elite difficulty content without much issue. Use what's exciting and exhilarating for you.

Just something rather...game-breaking I've noticed. If two people use Shadow Bind on the same enemy at the same time (and the enemy can be affected by the skill in the first place), that enemy will be rendered permanently inert. It will be unable to move, attack in any way*, or even load skills until it's killed. If it's an outdoor mob, it will remain this way even after respawning.
*The one exception is Fireball. If an enemy is casting it while being bound, it will still be able to fire it off but then become glitched afterward.
Main drawback to this is that it requires two people, but...if you have a friend, have fun glitching everything!
EDIT: For whatever reason, Puppet's Snare fixes this glitch and returns the enemy to normal. This is the only way I've found to do so.

Dunno if someone posted this but I learnt that Smokescreen has an interesting effect against AOE attacks like fireball...dunno about anything else like ice spear but maybe we should research this....for science!

Invincibility frame? Yeah, we all knew that. It's just like Windmill i-frames a long long long long time ago.

I like this skillset much more than gunner because guns almost unusable with EU ping, while shurikens is an ok. I can't spam normal attack just like with gunner, but spamming normal and using storm on cooldown do wonders. Also there is bind and hide (yay, finally hide for giant).
I see little to no meaning to explosive kunai. Skill load time much longer than almost unnotisable stun. Damage isn't that great. I see no explanataion to "debuff" on wiki, it debuffs what? For me even smokescreen have more use

Explosive Kunai reduces the movement speed of enemies it hits. That's the debuff you're wondering about. :)

I didn't know about it, so don't try to say that everybody already knew it! D< [S]Smokescreen still sucks[/S]
