  It's whatever, I only use wiki for really basic things, like certain mission's exp, etc. No need to use it because either 1. I know the information myself. 2. Even if I dont, I have better sources.

  They were referring to NisePanda who as far as I know has not contributed negatively to the wiki at all, on the contrary puts much effort into her duties, and implied in no uncertain terms that fashionogi editors are "dumbasses."

  I do say though, that Mabi's Wiki is incredibly detailed compared to other game's wikis. Like holy shit, the difference.

  well I'll say I don't know who they are/any wiki contributors/etc, so I can't speak about that. I was just saying it seems as if ironwomans post wasn't meant to cover all fashion players that contribute to the wiki. Although it may have been an assumption on his part about NisePanda contributing negatively due to fashion. Can't say for sure though. Still, first part of my post still applies. There's nothing wrong with those who play for fashion and properly contribute. I would assume ironwoman would agree with this as well
  
  On that note, I wouldn't have been able to progress in this game without the wiki. There are frustrating times where it has been wrong, sure. However, I can say without a doubt the pros heavily outweigh the cons.

  I agree there's nothing wrong with those who play for fashion and contribute, I was replying specifically to the by-name mention of a contributor suggested to be a dumbass for being fashionogi (fairly certain they're not fashionogi either though). I just thought it was a strange accusation and 100% non sequitur.
  
  Edit 2: Not attempting to defend anyone, just replying to the general statement/sentiment of any fashionogi = unable to meaningfully make wiki contributions due to being fashionogi.

  Different people, different priorities. I've been playing this game since it came out in NA, and not even once in all these years have I bothered with enchants, but I'm first in the line to check out what new clothes come out. Is not the "fashionogis" fault that you number crunchers don't test/post the fucking enchant info.
  
  Yes, it might be as easy as googling the enchants and passing them through google translate (Because that ended up so well for Treasure Hunter's skills...) but if my interest doesn't lie in enchanting why should I bother?

  Then what exactly are you arguing for? this thread seems to be for people concerned with the state of the wiki, if its "whatevs" to you, what's the point of posting here?

  I had my doubts about splitting this thread but by the looks of it, it seems people needed to speak their mind, this is also a good way for wiki staff to learn from "outsiders" what could be improved and what the current view of the site is.
  
  I no longer play Mabi, or at least not for now, but I've redone entire pages on the wiki myself, and never had any issues with other members, I did keep myself to the rules though, and I've done other Wikis before, that might be why.
  
  Either way, even if I no longer play, I do wish for the Wiki to be a bit more welcome to people, a lot of the current staff often comes accross in a way that scares newcomers off, even when the staff has the right intentions.

  If we made a new wiki there's no guarantee it wouldn't end up similarly to MWW like Osay pointed out in the first few pages. I won't say that users of Mabination aren't capable, but given the breadth and age of the game, I doubt we'd have the drive. There's countless other significant ways in which Mabination users contribute incomparable to editing wikis.
