Does Final Hit weapon-lock now, like Frenzy/Way of the Gun does?

Gameabout finally released articles covering the test server update. They're also taking a stab at UI/beginner tutorials as well (again).

I half came in here expecting a homestead update, but I suppose I'll have to wait for the next renovation for that. Tom Nook owes me big.

I feel this is more of a band-aid solution towards the power creep in Mabinogi, and while increasing Close-combat's relative strength to other skillsets is the right idea, an outright "buff" will just add to the list of skillsets that are considered strong enough to faceroll content with.
Ideally, each skillset should have benefits and limitations based on the situation and party-size which leaves a tactical choice for the player. I understand that mabinogi is a class-less game, but I think you should be limited by the two weapon sets you can equip (setting up hyrda and raincast before unequpping to your main skillset is a problem too). I have no alternative solution, however, and just wanted to share my thoughts.

I also noticed in that video showcasing skill changes, Evasion still had recovery issues similar to NA. Is this some nerf??

Haven't tried it and considering how badly I got owned on the other difficulties, I have a feeling i won't see much of the new difficulty and survive long enough to give you guys more info on that. Hopefully we get the new apostle difficulty right off the bat when we get G19 which should be soon.

What is that? Some difficulty higher than Elite?

It's the current highest difficulty of raid bosses. Raid bosses don't follow the basic-inter-adv-hard-elite-lord rules, Apostle difficulty has nothing to do with regular missions, just as mission difficulty has nothing to do with dungeon difficulty.

I keep getting skype messages of people misunderstanding so I'm going to try and clarify again. As I said, this has nothing to do with missions. This is a new raid difficulty. Raids' difficulty system is different from mission difficulty system, which is different from dungeon difficulty system.
Raids are something that come out in the Divine Knight/Next Generation(?) update. So far there is only one new boss add, the Disciple Gargashi? (Gilgamesh?) Who has several difficulties, Apostle being the name of the newest/currently hardest difficulty.

If I understood other threads correctly the raid difficulty mainly effects his hp and the damage for some of his skills right?

Thank you for clarifying. I can't wait to try out this new raid system they can do alot with future raid missions
