It REALLY steals mp? Or is that merely a flat restoration, NO STEALING?
Also 4 mp at rank 1 or all ranks?

Why does it matter? You expect if you can icebolt an enemy enough that it'll stop being able to use skills? Doubtful.

I would think it matters cause some mobs might have 0 mana(making it not work) and, of course, for PvP.

It's possible but mobs have like some 500 or so mana and stamina so it'd take a long time. Also PvP.

Consider that the majority of this discussion is incredibly high leveled. The power of people is fine, it's the content.
Which due to how mabi is, there's no way to make good endgame content without excluding a large part of the playerbase or massively nerfing everything into dust
Mabi was never meant for fast acceleration. It was meant to be the journey, but due to all of the complaints about AP. Well. Here we are.
Well put, Bog.
They dug themselves in to a hole by heeding some complaints, but not actualizing player suggestions and have moved the game in a direction past the point of no return.
You can't really fix much of it anymore without undoing a lot of what was implemented and making people extremely mad.

Nexon is just going in the wrong direction for revamps.Fixing mabinogi requires nerfing and quality improvement, not more huge damage spikes. sheesh .something is horribly wrong when an weapon you like is useless because it doesn't have piecing and or just massive power.
The foundation is just bad.Nexon need to fix that instead of more stupid power spikes. It satisfy some players temporally but does NOTHING fit the well being of mabi.Mabi is easy fixable.just not with this mind-set .

Question...

I'm not sure why they're doing this...is the dmg from the single lighting bolt being buffed by the full charge..?
Edit: Oh and uh, this is a follow up vid from them doing the same thing at the start of SCC, I'm only asking in THIS one because there doesn't seem to be a reason to do this to just one target, unlike in their first part of the video.
Also there's another vid showing off that if you freeze a target with def up or counter up, you will still get blocked/countered normally if you attack them while frozen. (somewhere on that channel)

Can you people please stop acting like there is only one way the game should go and if it deviates from what you think should happen that they're just wrong? How would you feel if people said that about what you made?

Pretty much this. Players have their own play style. Let people play how they want to play the game.

Actually,I knew some players like you would react this way.It justify my server ideas more for players like yourself,Frunes and possibly Aubog. (Look up last comment of Brick Wall solution)

My idea is geared towards lowering the power-creep and improving every weapon type for more versatility. AKA adding more to custom play styles. Grand Master swordsmen/woman / Grand Master Clay/Earth Alchemist for example while staying true to mabi's classless freedom.

I hope they make meditation no longer slow you to a walk, and also no longer drain hunger faster or hurt sp regin (as much). That way we have a universal mp healing skill, and a mage directed one.
Most of combats skills can be used with anything else.
Bolts, healing, mana shield, and to an extent, meditation, are magic's universal skills.
Which makes sense. To do the 'basic' things, you don't need anything special. That helps them tie into everything else a bit while still having their own things and special skills. For melee, it got it's own upgrades to be special for it's own things, while still allowing it to be used as 'basic' stuff with other skill sets.
