Toughts on SP : Reverse Gravity?
I don't know if Tasha is still playing Vindictus or not, last time I heard he got banned I don't know if it was permanent or not, but he could be just too busy playing the current content right now!
Anyways my thought on SP: Reverse Gravity
Sure why not? I mean the only current SP skill you have is SP: Insane Reaper, so why not grab an SP skill that does AoE damage + the animation gives time for party members to revive/heal/get back on their feet, etc. Although it does not fabulous damage as seen in the trailers/Mabinogi Heroes gameplay it's quite good for giving your teammates some time to recover. Just my 2cents.

I haven't played more than maybe 15 minutes since my week ban. The only one I played with got perma banned, and.... my computer is having serious issues.
On Vindictus & Mass Effect 2 my screens would randomly artifact totally and my computer would freeze up. That's bad. After looking into it heavily, so far... my GPU is not overheating, my CPU is not overheating, it wasn't my RAM since I not only replaced it but I have double the RAM now (12GB), but I'm pretty sure the problem is the Motherboard. Unfortunately, MSI are being a bunch of panzies with their RMA and won't even let me RMA, they just keep dicking me around telling me to do crap I could care less about. I know the DIMM slots are ****ed up... ahem, I'll explain that... With both of my triple channel RAM sets, the computer would only detect two of them, even though CPU-Z read the correct thing, even BIOS didn't detect all the RAM. And so anyways, with two different sets of RAM, that's completely eliminated. It's the motherboard. And besides, if I stick the RAM in the black slots instead of the blue slots, it just send the computer into an endless power cycle until they're removed. Which..... fried my C HDD.... good god that was a serious pain in the ass... I was 4 days without a computer waiting for the Advanced RMA from WD, but turns out it was going to take another 4 days, so I just ended up buying a new one from Best Buy, luckily I managed to clone it on its death knell... it was clicking loudly... ugh.
And anyways, I'm still not done sorting with the two hdd RMA's and reorganizing my disks since I have an extra one now and stuff yet, and that still leaves the problem of the motherboard being the likely issue behind all this.... and so..... it'll probably be some time before I get on Vindictus again. I don't plan on quitting though.
Anyways, from everything I've heard Reverse Gravity is a good skill. I haven't been able to use it myself, but I was always wanting it.
As for whoever was talking about what to rank at 18k... the list is in order of priority from top to bottom, so just go down that list. I have a lot more AP than that and I'm still not done with that.
As for ranking up staff skills... This is good because it gives quite a lot of +int titles. Speaking of which...... all of you should be doing all the int titles you possibly can.

Why'd you get perma banned ???

hello, i'm thinking this could be a common question already for some.. but i've yet to encounter an answer for my question.. so.. please forgive my negligence if somehow, this is a repeat question..
basically, skills rank up by training and gaining AP right? so.. does all the skills get to rank A (Eventually)? or is there a limited number of AP gained on characters? by the thread starters opinion.. i "assumed" that players should just know what they want to prioritize first... but, i'll make sure just incase.

*I* didn't. *I* was only banned for a week for just opening my Tieve boxes on all my characters for those actual characters (yeah, way to fail Nexon).
The only person I actually played Vindictus with, as in a real life person, not a character and not myself, got perma banned. And that was for the Tieve exploit.

AP is unlimited. You prioritize because it obviously takes time to get large amounts of AP, so you'll want to do the more important things first.
As for your Rank A question.... I'm not sure some skills go up that high, but a lot of skills, most skills actually, go much higher. Which... would be why the charts go to 6.

I raised my Evie with a staff, now at lvl 48 I've started working on scythe. Being staff, I maxed Will Power Mastery and was a little concerned about the extra crit rate for scythe. But, I just looked at the wiki description and it says that crit rate increases for Lann and Fiona with no mention of Evie.
http://www.vindictuswiki.com/wiki/Willpower_Mastery
Any thoughts on that? Is it correct, only Lann and Fiona?

That would be an oversight on the wiki's part.
All stats do the same things and use the same formulas, no matter the class.
It's mainly the damage formulas that are different.
It's not like raising willpower on another class somehow adds max stamina.
There are some class specific effects, but that's not the same as having a totally different formula, like Int allowing evies to pick up heavier objects.
(Though I don't think Staff Evies benefit from willpower for crit. As far as I know, they use agility for that.)

Thanks, Lyre. I edited that wiki entry so it matches what's under the Character Stats entry, "Fiona, Lann and Scythe Evie."
It's my understanding that Agility only affects Bolt Magic. I maxed Will Power Mastery for the knock down and incapacitation resistance, wasn't even thinking about crit.

I have a question. On page 44(?) you said something about "no one can go above A right now". Is that still the case? or is 7(I think someone mentioned a 7 somewhere) the new skill cap?

It is possible to go beyond rank A Insane Reaper with the latest update. [S]I believe[/S] I'm sitting on rank [S]8 or[/S] 7 myself right now [S](whichever gives an 8% boost)[/S].
edit: It seems rank 6 should be the new cap at a 10% attack speed boost.

ak120691 wrote on 2011-03-03 20:55
So Rank 6 is the current skill level cap for all skills?
-
whocares8128 wrote on 2011-03-03 21:29
I believe so, but you'd be better off asking someone who's level 60.

I was just looking at the table on page one, and I saw that there are two different instances of gravity inversion: AoE and individual. Is it just same skill but different damage on mobs vs. one monster?
