And as far as anyone in the Skype knows, I could have been lying to them about reporting my own post, in which case, then absolutely nobody would have reported it because they assumed/thought someone else already did
Still inapplicable: We can talk about what if statements all day. What if Loop never made the thread in the first place? What if Osay never made Nation? What if Mabinogi never existed? None of it affects what really happens, or what really happened.
Here's a what if that actually does hold some merit: What if the amount of people who actually read your post was very few? You have no way of knowing that more than 10 people saw the post, and yet you're making sweeping judgments as if everyone on nation saw it and either did nothing or gave you rep.
And here's an even bigger problem with your argument at large: The members aren't held accountable for moderation. The report system isn't a way for us to police ourselves, it's a way for us to warn the mods to disagreeable posts. Why shouldn't we play favorites? I didn't agree to unbaisedly judge my fellow users when I made my account. I hold myself accountable for my own following of the rules and no one else.
It's not up to me what happens when someone breaks the rules, and when I choose to report a post, it's not because I have a list of the rules and I read every post to make sure that everyone is following them. I report things that offend me, or that I think would offend other people. Which means I'm restricted to only reporting the posts that I read.
(I'm not crying favoritism anyway, so this doesn't apply to me, but) I wouldn't be a hypocrite for accusing the moderation of favoritism, even if I were a blatant favoritism user, because the mods have an implicit agreement to fair, unbaised judgement, and I don't.
