The biggest problem with this skillset is even if you play reforgeless, it still falls behind in terms of damage and efficiency.
If you want to play around with the skillset, go ahead, I could care less about what you use, and do whatever the hell you want.
As for the efficiency and damage part, it's very noticeable when you're using ninja along magic and puppets. Both skillsets have much higher stat base, as well as better ratio and base damage.

What is the purpose of explosive shuriken? Doesnt really seem that useful.

Mines. You can just plant them in mission rooms before you hit the orb.
Considering that the only other type of mine we have (Ice Mine) is less useful than Gold Strike, I'd say this skill is fine.

Seems that its purpose is to stop enemy that runs towards you, to give you time to prepare next attack or move to safer place.
It's something that in theory you should set up a moment before attacking enemy, or before it starts charging at you.
Edit: Or, like ironwoman said, before hitting orb.
And not sure about ice mines, but these can be at least used anywhere.

-Achieve lance/crash shot dps at the minimum
-Combo well with Blaze
-Render all current combos with Blaze obsolete
Otherwise, it'll just get a resounding 'meh' that can be heard all the way in KR.
Because Ninja is balanced, basically, lots of other stuff is not.
i propose nexon hires ghostcrawler to balance the game

They won't.
From their perspective, getting players to use reforges, buy fashion/cosmetics with pons, will net them more money.
If you think they're considering balancing... they won't nerf things. They will buff the skillsets instead.

It seems like balance in a world of unbalance is equivalent to weak

Swear I've been advocating Gunner/Ninja too much lately but from what I see, yes it is meant to keep mobs from approaching you. I'd say it's like a security blanket after you've used Shooting Rush or something or want to get mobs close enough to hit with a max target Bullet Storm while not worrying about one hitting you and canceling out the skill.

Too bad explosive shuriken has such a delay on it. Can't use it quickly and then attack something, you have to wait for an animation to finish before the skill is considered complete. This sort of limits the applications.

Isn't ninja a life skill tab you just grind for stats? It gives so much life!

As I've said before, JP did a good job putting out a 'beginner-friendly' (they used this wording on a few of their announcements) skillset that gives new players base stats and a nice bag of utilities to go along with it.

Is it just me, or does it appear that most people are depending on Reforges too much ? I dont reforge but depend on my Stats, Enchants, and Special upgrades for my damage..... it just seems that way now. Like "WHos trying to hit the highest insane damage"

Same for me... That and spamming AoE pets, then just finishing off the few enemies that were left in "deadly" state and aren't worth another summon.
And to keep the thread from derailing, overall the ninja skills can be useful and have some decent damage even on low ranks. Some elements may be a bit hard to get used to at first, but I'm sure people will find proper ways to utilize even the not liked ones.
Give me some time and I'll show you a ninja mage ;)
(but for now gotta grind for AP)

I love how much as the skills cost. It finally justifies all the AP I have saved up.
